Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed it. The rooms are good enough size and the style is charming and rustic although the rooms are a bit tired. The door handle to the balcony was broken.

Breakfast spread is limited and probably not worth the extra amount you pay. I’d just get breakfast outside.
There is also a food court right next door to the hotel where you can go get lunch or dinner.
The pool is lovely, and sheltered with palm trees and is a really bonus to this hotel.

The reception staff are lovely, courteous and super helpful.

Underground Parking is free which is handy. The beach is a good 20-25 minutes walk away and the hotel can book you sun beds for the day in a private beach club which they have affiliations with. I’d recommend doing this.

When we arrived the staff greeted us amazingly, good customer service by Alejandro and others.
In our room we had a hole/vent in the ceiling which was a bit creepy and scary (especially for 2 women) because it exposed the pipe work and there was a bright light coming from it.
Cleanliness was 9.5/10, only a tiny bit of muck in the corners of the room but that can't be helped.
Breakfast was luckily included but not up to the standards you would expect, bacon was near to raw for my liking, very fatty, but thats just a personal preference, other food here is too expensive (€40 for a fish meal)
The spa cost an extra €15 per person and you have to buy swimming cap and flip-flops (€6 per swimming cap) to actually go into the spa area and pool.
The outside pool is good but saltwater instead of chlorine which personally I don't like but others may prefer.

Overall, good experience and customer service and staff were amazing, thank you for a lovely night

The hotel is beautiful, lovely breakfast helpful staff. Down side very slow service behind bar 20 mins sat at bar waiting, but to be fair only 1 bar staff on, Missed cleaning our room 1 morning and when questioned at reception was just told don't know why.
The golf course on the back of the hotel looked amazing, the spa facility and steam room and sauna were fabulous 90mins for 12 euros.
Not a lot open in the surrounding area which is beautiful, but could be due to Christmas and the new year holiday period.

This hotel is overpriced for the service and standards, I discovered on day three that my room was infested with ants. I picked up a wet towel from the floor and was horrified to see a huge amount of them had gathered under it. It was there for approx ten minutes! Then I discovered that the hot water in my shower was running brown! I reported this and they offered me another room, but I did not want to re-pack and move, halfway through a one week holiday, so I had to have cold showers all week. I also found ants in a packet of biscuits I had left on my sideboard. They sent the chambermaid up to spray my room with insect spray. Other things I noticed, The children's pool is closed so the pool got quite full with Parents and toddlers so no chance of a decent swim. Also, there are not enough sunbeds. On busy days, we had to lie on the grass, which was always wet. Oh and the rooms do not have tea/coffee making facilities. I asked could I rent a kettle and was told no. I paid a lot of money for this weeks holiday and I definitely did not get value for money. I am left feeling hugely disappointed by the whole experience.

Worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Wifi was not working , overpriced for the offered services and very unfriendly staff. Its a 4 star hotel but in reality it deserves only 2 .
We were planing to spend few days there but after one day we left.

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in August 2021.

The lock on our door was broken so every time we left we had to go to reception to have someone open the room for us. Three people were sent to the room to fix it which they were unable to do.

The internet in the hotel does not work in the rooms.

The phone in the room did not work.

Went to reception to order room service on the first night. Raw chicken was sent to our room.

We complained many many times about things, no apology was ever given. The hotel is so run down. The sunbeds are mostly cracked or broken if you can ever find one.

Just don't bother.

This is the first negative review I've ever written.

We booked a 3 day break at Christmas but unfortunately my husband got flu so we had to postpone our visit until later in January. I was a little apprehensive as I had recently read some negative reviews, but my fears were totally unfounded as on arrival we could not have had a better room. We had booked a superior room and it was situated on a corner with a huge wrap around balcony and a beautiful view of the lakes on the golf course. The room was a very good size with a comfortable bed and large bathroom with a good size bath. We had booked dinner each night and the food was excellent. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the young lady at reception who booked us in. We would not hesitate to recommend the hotel and would certainly stay again if we were in the area.

After having an evening meal out I was expecting a good nights sleep before a big international match. unfortunately there was a mechanical fault with the aircon, it was so loud, it was rattling. I turned it off at 1am to try and get some sleep. unfortunately then had no aircon, no lights and no electricity to charge my important business equipment. I then fell over and injured myself as I was in pitch black.

I recorded the loud sounds it was making in the morning when I had to turn it back on.

The following day the hotel receptionist apologised and said a complete refund would be given…….unfortunately 24 hours later the full payment came out of my account.

I contacted them and discussed via email what had happened but Solia Traves & Tamar Molina had no understanding or sympathy and asked why I didn’t report at 1am in the morning when I’m exhausted and just needed sleep.

I would not recommend staying at this hotel to any business travelers, it’s dated, many repairs need being done and some repair have been done but as a cheap botched job.

Has to be the worst customer services, hotel stay and 4 star rating hotel I’ve travelled to over the passed 27 year.

I would leave the video of the sound but this sight won’t allow videos. If anyone wishes to hear it please just ask as I’ll send it to you.

Mediocre facility, crappy service

We are a group of about 10-15 friends who have been coming here each year for about ten years. The offering ha been on a steady downslope to where we this year have decided we will not come back. The rooms were bad with a noisy street outside. The staff at the golf course were extremely rude, almost threatening, and did not make ANY attempts to be solution oriented. I do not need to be pampered, but when staff is unforthcoming just for the sake of it it ruins the mood of the entire group. Will not come back. Ever. Goodbye.

Stayed here for a few nights on a golf break. Hotel amazing and next to the golf course. Room I had looked out to a beautiful view. Room great with bath and plenty of extra pillows and blankets. The food was amazing - big buffet style breakfast and in the cafeteria - the aubergine in ham was the best I've ever tasted. Staff could not be more helpful and attentive. Will defo go back. Great value thanks. Sunset views from terrace bar attached
