Stayed for one night so we could visit Benidorm on the Tram, and have a night out in Alicante old town.
Very helpful reception staff gave us the bus number 23 to the nearest tram stop.
On our return from Benidorm checked in to a large spacious and clean twin bed room , with a very comfortable bed.
The same young man as in the morning booked us a taxi to the old town.
Great night’s sleep and very acceptable breakfast with the young waitress extremely helpful as she had been when serving behind the bar the previous night.
Plenty of parking and a very nice place.

We stayed here as a stop on the way to the airport but there is nothing there. Past the hotel twice as signs for parking are not clear which added another 40 minutes onto the trip. However once in the hotel, it is very clean & smells lovely. The pool area is very nice. The food is good and the waitress & the barman are lovely. The room was clean but VERY! noisy and the beds are very hard. Wouldn't stay again, sorry

Not bad location and the town is very nice, but its not easy to get back and forward from the hotel, a lot of traffic and noise. People seemed nervous and exhausted from a long season. Not easy to find a table to eat, or a spot at the beach. Next time we will aim for September ?

My friend had booked this hotel as she was having treatment in a nearby clinic. The room 134 had a fridge that was not working - we needed to keep the medication cold especially as it was so hot. We did say this to reception 30mins after we checked in and no one ever came to fix it or update us. As we arrived late the medication was kept in the kitchen fridge which had juice etc and in full view which was not ideal or safe. So we had to inform the clinic and they said we could keep the medication at the clinic and travel twice a day to administer it - which we did for 3 days as the fridge was never repaired. So why advertise a room with a fridge we couldnt even store juice in the heat?? Also we're not given the WiFi code upon checking in and told the wrong breakfast time. Would not recommend this hotel - steer clear

Was a bit dubious at what to expect after reading other reviews (some only few days before my arrival). After staying for 3 nights at this hotel, I can only assume that either they have an active management team who act on the reviews, or some people just like to complain .
The room was spotless, beds were comfy, large sliding windows with climate control in room was a big bonus, breakfast buffet was good standard and the bar meals were fair portions and good quality. We didn't eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we like to explore, but it did look popular.
Not everybody at this hotel is fluent in English (as others have moaned about) yet even the members of staff that weren't fluent, could still explain to me which bus to catch, when and which transfers to take as well as recommend things to do and see. Unless your expecting them to recite the poetic works of medieval English monks, what more would you want?
There is a bus stop a few yards from hotel entrance that takes you into center of Alicante for 1.45 euro (you can buy a version of the Oyster card in town that works out cheaper though). Bus runs every 8 min from 6am until 11ish.
Only downside people may have is that it is outside of the social center, but I'm not much of a party animal so an evening walk back or last bus home was fine with me.

After reading other reviews i was a little apprehensive about staying here, as from my experience it seems that other people just like to moan. We arrived and we seen accordingly and we were done within a couple of minutes by the staff on the front desk and we were directed to our room which once we entered we were very pleasently surprised, front desk were also really helpful with information and directions around the city such as the Benalua markets which we visited whilst there. The hotel room had a lovely modern appearance and a good view of the pool, there are no balconies but this wasn't an issue as they had very large sliding windows which is just something i'm not used to, everything within the room worked, the tv the air con and the fridge. The staff on the front desk do speak english, some a little better than others so it can be quite difficult to put across your point or communicate, same with the restaurant staff also, the first day it was quite frustrating, however we got used to this and it was fairly easy to communicate to them after the week was over. I even taught them a few english words for future reference. We ate at the restaurant quite often as we paid full board and the food was really lovely, the only downside is they didn't really have vegetarian options, so beware. Luckily my girlfriend is pescatarian so she was able to have the fish dishes that were always available such as Hake/Tuna Steak/Perch. Everything was really fresh and well cooked. The location of the Hotel wasn't too bad, if you don't mind getting the bus from right out front which was 2.90 euro for two people to alicante centre from which was a 10 minute walk to the beach/bars in the old town. Front desk did help to phone taxi's for us, which averaged at around 9 euro to get to the taxi stop near the marina. Seems that a lot of people rented cars who stayed there which was probably better as there are supermarkets/lidls near by, during our stay we also noticed that the hotel is predominantly spanish holiday makers which may be off putting to people who may want to socialise with the people staying. There was free Wifi in the reception area which there was plenty of sofas and chairs to sit around and relax, otherwise you do get a free wifi token to use with one device whilst you stay there which is accessible whilst in the hotel room. Rooms were cleaned everyday and we had no complaints with the service of any of the staff whilst there who were all very polite and well manered, if anything the restaurant staff are a litte understaffed, we noticed that there are two maids and three restaurant staff who work from 7 until around 10.30 at night, they did this everyday we were there so we assume they do this all year round with very little breaks. Overall the Hotel was lovely the decor was spacious and modern and the staff were all very helpful and friendly which made for our first holiday together really enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Daniya to friends/family who were looking for anywhere to stay with in alicante at a reasonable price.

Staff unfriendly unhelpful examples where that staff seemed to be over the top about myself & my friends and other holiday makers about making too much noise which no one was,l mean how can anyone go on holiday without being allowed to enjoy themselves, rooms were fine facilities were ok.But as l say the staff ruined our time in the hotel,l wouldn't recommend it.
