Contacted the owners by whatsapp and were able to reserve a double room with ease. We were greeted and shown our room and through the accommodations (kitchen, laundry, showers, & rest area). They told us to make ourselves at home, get settled, and come down and register when we were ready. A very nice and relaxing way to be welcomed. We had a double room, nice bed, small deck facing the river, clean and spacious. Washrooms are well appointed, good space to shower and change in shared bathrooms (not always the norm in most albergues). Oh and a blow dryer! Laundry sink in one bathroom for hand washing, they will spin dry for free and clotheslines on the decks. They do also have laundry service wash and dry too. Kitchen has all the necessary tools and equipment to make easy meals. There is a market just around the corner. Downstairs in the lobby they offer free tea and coffee all day. They have a beautiful and kind dog that loves people. The owners (or the couple running the establishment) are super kind and show a lot of pride in this place. This was definitely one of our favorite Albergues.

I spent a night here on the Camino Frances and the hospitaleros here are the nicest people of any albergue on the walk. They are avid peregrinos too so they know and understand what walkers need after a long day on the trail. Villafranca is a lovely town too.

We stayed here in October and again the albergue is excellent. The couple who run it are very friendly and helpful and speak excellent english. The showers are hot with plenty of water. The whole place is clean, kitchen is well equipped and there are two supermarkets in town. We stay on the top floor where the beds are well spaced out sturdy and have shelf units next to them. They do a laundry service for €5 wash and dry. The breakfast is great with muesli, toast, cakes, biscuits, juice, tea & coffee all for only €3 a great start to steep hike in the morning. Overall would thoroughly recommend you stay and meet Unai & Livia and their dog Conan.

Staff very helpful. Kitchen is clean and we'll equipped. Grocery store down the street before the bridge. As for WiFi everyone needs to huddle around the post on second floor and it's slow. Hopefully it's better by now. Dog of the house is very friendly. Please do NOT feed him as he will get stomach upset.

This private albergue was wonderful, the young couple who owned/ managed it were most helpful, site was clean, Camino travelers were happy, friendly. Breakfast was a step above most with muesli in addition to usual toast, juice, coffee with hot milk.

Kind hearted hosts who speak excellent English. Double room was fine and excellent location and very quiet. Nice touch like offering a coffee at check in etc. Very clean. They even have a machine to massage tired lower legs and feet for 2€. I would stay here again.

I've hopped between a bunch of hostels while exploring Spain, and let me tell you, this one's a gem. The folks running it are awesome—really make you feel like part of the family. And the spot? Couldn't ask for better. It's right where you want to be, making everything super accessible. They've got everything sorted for you, too. Whatever you need, they've thought of it. If you're looking to dive into the local vibe or just need a place to crash while you're on the move, this place hits the mark every time.

Olivia and her husband are so welcoming this place was the perfect place to stay. I got to walk the very friendly dog Rey (the King) around the town which was amazing and when I needed a Tupperware container to store extra food I cooked Olivia didn’t hesitate to give me one of hers to take and keep- SO NICE! Thank you!

Si, nosotros llamamos por telf y no hubo problema. Dormimos arriba en una sala abuardillada. La única pega es que se hacen colas para ir al baño. Por lo demás todo perfecto y sin problema. Buen Camino compañero.
