I have been going here for years, but now it is fading a little as there is not enough care taken to maintain it well.it needs a bit of TLC. A couple of loyal friendly staff, but generally under - resourced. Pity. Lovely spot and such potential

This was our second visit to Camilsons Beach Resort and we fell more in love with it, if that could be possible. The tranquility and soul-refreshing peace are rare but can be experienced in Camilsons. The E Block has well-appointed AC rooms while the quaint stand-alone 6-bedded Camber Cottage has one room upstairs and two down. At the rear of...

We spent 6 days lounging on the beach in Colva. Camilson’s is a few hundred yards south of Colva’s main drag, which is about a 45-minute cab ride from the only airport in Goa, and the closest train station is in Margao, about a 20-minute cab ride from the beach. The resort is ON the beach. The private lounge area...

Camilsons is right on the beach, which is something I liked a lot. Me and some of my friends used to sit at night, on the beach chairs and hear the waves while sipping juices (freshly made) and drinks and eating their very amazing fish fingers (must try!)! Their restaurant, again, right on the beach, serves a lot of exciting...

Looking for a piece of heaven on earth? Then Camilsons is the answer. No noise, complete tranquility - with the sound of the sea, birdsong and the gentle rustle of palm leaves in a beautiful garden that is full of trees. As a family of 8 we had 4 rooms with attached baths in the lower cost accommodation which were...

The landscape is awesome: coconut trees, 200 meters from the beach and sea and beautiful gardens. We were disappointed by the welcome and the owners of the place, as in many places we felt that only our money counted for them. One man who worked at the reception and the restaurant was friendly with us, but the others never smiled...

Camilsons is a fifteen minute brisk walk along the beach, south of bustling Colva. There are no busy roads running behind the resort or swimming pool and it is set within peaceful gardens. Solid, Indian-built, wooden sunbeds with thick PVC cushions overlook the beach, along with the restaurant, which serves fantastic food thru until 11pm, along with a complimentary sunset,...

The Resort itself with a lovely garden and beach restaurant and the location right a beautiful and empty beach is hard to beat. My room (non-AC) in a little Bungalow at the back of the Resort was shabby and basic, hardly maintained at all. For 1000 Rp. it was really overpriced. But the resort and the atmosphere are so nice...

This is our third visit to Camilsons and the reason we keep coming back here is it is such a tranquil place . The rooms now have hot showers, our little verandah has comfortable chairs looking over the long garden , with palms shrubs and birds an oasis of peace and beauty. Sitting in the restaurant, right on the beach,...

We stayed only 2 nights at Camilsons Beach Resort and the reason why we stayed there was the top location right on the beach, it's surroundings/garden and the friendly welcoming of host Raymond. The rooms are very basic, but sadly to say it seemed they were not prepared for the season yet. The room was not very clean (not sure if...

“A couple of staff really friendly and helpful but air of resignation about the place.... sad...wifi connections really slow and poor... lovely location, nice garden. Rooms need a bit of TLC and investment. SOund of Disco and Party from Big resort behind can be heard in back rooms, but I rather like these rooms anyway!”
