Detailed Reviews
Located truly in the Norfolk countryside just outside South Creake. The refurbishment of what must have been an old agricultural building into a really spacious and comfortable room (Oak) and an amazing bathroom, is astonishing. Staying in the Oak room you have your own room next door for breakfast, which also has a microwave, cutlery and wine glasses, should you bring something back to eat or drink. Then there is breakfast; everything is beautifully prepared and presented and I love that if you have cereal etc to start your breakfast, the hot food is only delivered about ten minutes later, so you get it freshly cooked. It’s the extra touches that make the difference!

Stayed for a weekend with our small dogs. Absolutely brilliant. The farm is a 10 minute drive to the beach and easily accessible to all the towns in the coastal area. We stayed in the Sycamore Lodge which is self contained and beautiful. Lovely large lounge with log burner, large bedroom with a comfy queen bed and amazing bathroom with shower and roll top bath, which we did use after a day out on our feet. The breakfast is brought to your room in the morning and is also beautiful. Great hosts and private. The private garden is great to let the dogs out too. Will definitely be be returning in the summer. Thoroughly recommend.

Had a lovely stay in Sycamore with our 2 dogs. The accommodation is perfect, beautifully furnished with a secure garden. The bed is extremely comfy and the bathroom very luxurious. The breakfasts are well cooked and plentiful and the home made cake a delicious added bonus. Bob and Inez are excellent welcoming hosts, attentive but unobtrusive. Look forward to our next visit.

This was our third visit here & although there have been a few changes, it certainly didn't disappoint. We stayed in Oak, a lovely spacious room with amazing bathroom & the most comfortable bed ever. Breakfast, served in our own private dining room was delicious & plentiful. Inez's granola was delicious as was the fruit yogurt. Breakfast certainly set us up for the day. The location is so peaceful & relaxing it was lovely to come back to after a day exploring beautiful North Norfolk. Bob is an excellent host & coped admirably in the absence of Inez during our stay. We'll be back.

We have just spent 4 nights here, (was due to be in Spain for daughters wedding) and although the North Norfolk weather was blowing a gale most days, we had a fabulous time made easy when staying at such a lovely place. The owners have thought of everything, beautiful white linen and towels, bottled spring water, stunning bathroom with large bath and walk in shower, fridge, cosy attractive decor and very very clean which is so important. All good restaurants within easy reach, the coast with the best beaches, plus Burnham Market which we love. Great time away and definitely coming back. Thank you Bob and Ines!

We had another very enjoyable stay at Sycamore Lodge, which is extremely comfortable. As dog owners it’s lovely to have our own fenced in garden. Bob and Inez have made some changes as a result of Covid 19 although this did not diminish our enjoyment. The main change is that breakfast is now brought to the door having ordered the night before. The breakfasts were excellent as always and the home made sourdough bread is a must! The addition of a microwave oven is very useful for heating up ready meals and takeaways, with a container outside for used china and cutlery which is provided
We spent most of our time walking along the north Norfolk coast and can recommend the Wells to Holkham walk and visited the cafe for a refreshing tea and bun!
Bob and Inez are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble which is always good but especially now with Covid 19. It was good to feel that life was normal for a few days and be looked after! We are looking forward to staying there again soon.

We have just returned from a two night stay.
Given the circumstances (COVID 19 )we have enjoyed a relaxing informal stay, with all safety measures in place.
Bob & Inez were lovely/friendly hosts , and thank them so much for their hospitality and delicious breakfasts.
This place is so secluded and beautifully quiet...but near enough to drive to local pubs an restaurants to eat .
Comes highly recommended from us.
So...big Thanks ...our little dog also enjoyed his stay, and the run around the fabulous woods surrounding the property.
