Whilst visiting a hotel for either business or pleasure I don't expect to participate in forensic archaeology but when I did with the Gran Hotel Plaza Imperial it was fascinating journey into the past; mainly, but not exclusively, the early 1980s. The early investigations into the stickers underneath the hairdryer disguised as a weapon of torture uncovered a former history...

Hotel located in a high speed street with just a restaurant along side but nothing else in the near. room adequate but bathrooms very poorly furnished with no towels available until late afternoon. Breakfast quality standard very defficient and just set up to aim for Mexican customers, foreigners could have just fruits. Security in the rooms also a problem with...

If you need a Crowne Plaza, go to the Crowne Plaza. I found this place an unexpected gem, and well worth the price of the room. The building is huge and strange, but rooms are spacious and the staff here were great, very welcoming and helpful, 24 hours a day. At the Mexican breakfast buffet there's a man called Florentino...

To stay here is to time travel back about 30 years to an era when there were not all that many hotels available in the Toluca area. The hotel layout is very disjointed and the ambiance is one of faded glory or bygone days. There is a reasonably useful, heated and indoor swimming pool here, probably about 20 meters in...

I did not feel safe from the minute I walked into the hotel. The lobby is large, dark, and empty. When I got to my 2nd floor room (no elevator), the window was open. It was quite heavy to close and I could not get it to lock properly. The room itself seemed okay although the bathroom was small and...

This Hotel appears to be in a never ending state of construction. The photos they display are only the lobby and pool building, the actual hotel is behind that building, and is a dumpy not so clean, run down mess. The parking lot is a disaster as well. My room was barely OK , but the window frame was falling...

This hotel had very attentive staff who helped make my stay comfortable as possible. I am very grateful to them for their hospitality and wonderful customer-oriented service. There is an indoor pool which was mainly empty and a gym, too. The only downside is that there is nothing to see/do in the area, and one has to take a taxi...

We pulled intl the hotel entrance and took our parking lot ticket and there were traffic cones set up to our right which was clearly the hotel entrance. It seemed like we should have gone straight into what looked like (and was) an area closed and under construction. It is a real safety hazard. The lazy person who was supposed...
