I recently visited Lifehouse with my sister as I had received vouchers for a champagne afternoon tea for two, and also a massage for two that comes with a 1 hour relaxation time in a retreat. I initially contacted Lifehouse and left a message with my details, but after a week had passed and I hadn't heard anything I emailed...

We booked for a one night package and after a long drive the check in went well. I thought I had booked dinner for 730 but the "itinerary" showed 630. When I asked if this could be changed I was initially met with a stone wall refusal as the hotel and restaurant was "full". The fact that I had booked...

My partner planned a surprise night away for our ten year anniversary, we arrived at our destination and were greeted by friendly staff. After check in we made our way to our room. Massive was an understatement. The bed was enormous, the bathroom was lovely. We had a garden view from the room window. Stunning!!The food was exquisite, my evening...

When we arrived at the spa it looked like an industrial estate. In reception it was cold and unwelcoming environment. Staff however were very welcoming and helpful. We stored our lugguage and went through for our afternoon tea in the resturant. It was busy but service was good and afternoon tea delicious. Our rooms were garden rooms, large with twin...

Visited on a Monday on the Love Life package. Was fairly quiet and plenty of available loungers in the pool area but the spa area looks a little tired and in need of some TLC. Lunch was very good. Seating in the cafe/bar area looked good but very uncomfortable. Back massage was okay but not fantastic. Overall a good day...

Fantastic gluten free and dairy free food available here. Breakfast included gluten free toast and gluten and lactose free cornflakes amongst other food options. And I had a gf and df afternoon tea. As a coeliac I needn't have worried. The spa facilities and treatments were lovely. Myself and 7 other friends had a really fabulous relaxing w/e here. Highly...

I wanted to like this spa. I've been to many others and had such enjoyable experiences, this one just fell completely short. What went well... dinner. The food was incredible. What didn't go well, the staff, treatments, inconsistent temperatures and the staff again. To give some clarification, the restaurant and staff were brilliant. The spa staff, less so. I booked...

We recently stayed here, just for a one night break, the rooms are pretty basic but clean, though a little poorly lit. The spa facilities ties are awesome, nice staff and treatments are priced well. Why I'm writing the review is due to have brilliant the staff were. They were very welcoming and friendly. The restaurant staff were superb, Molly...

My friends live in Frinton so I usually stay at the Lifehouse. This is my second visit and I love it just as much as before. A couple of observations however, it seems a bit busier than my previous visit 18/12 ago so there are inevitable queues which shocked me when I checked it but reception staff very efficient and...

The spa at this hotel was very good. Not too busy, lots to do, clean and quiet. The massage I had was ok, could have been firmer even though I asked several times. The rooms are simple, nice shower but the bed for me was uncomfortable, too soft. the building was a little noisy during the night so I didn't...
