Games barn with pool table, table tennis, skittles, darts & lots of children's toys. Large garden with swings, play area, football net, summerhouse, BBQ. Dogs welcome (secure back garden/yard area for Little Thatch). Free wi-fi. On-site laundry room. Large amount of baby/toddler equipment available to borrow (free of charge). Bed linen inclusive. Towel hire available. Plenty of parking. What a beautiful Cottage. Stayed in the Wishing Well cottage. Incredibly well equipped with all you need. Beds are soooo comfortable. Each room so quaint and in keeping with the beautiful cottage. Gardens gorgeous and games room such fun. I will be returning. Thank you Christine for your hospitality. So close to the gorgeous parts of New Forest. Loved it.

This is our second visit to Little Thatch. It is a charming little cottage ideal for a couple, right in the heart of The New Forest, with some great walks from the doorstep. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay and very well equipped for a nice break away from the hustle & bustle of daily life. Our two dogs were welcomed and the rear garden is totally secure for big dogs as well as small, which is one of the most important factors for us when we are away. Christine is very helpful and on hand if needed, however, our privacy was totally respected whilst we were there. We will definitely return !

We stayed in Little Thatch for a long weekend. The cottage is just gorgeous with so many quirks and original features. It has literally everything you need either for a weekend or week away. Christine the owner made us feel incredibly welcome and nothing was too much trouble for her. The location is also perfect for exploring the New Forest, going on some amazing walks and finding all the local pubs.

We booked both Little Thatch and Wishing well for a family holiday. Both cottages were so well equipped and comfortable. Christine the host is the friendliest most helpful person and has added extra touches that makes the holiday more enjoyable, everything you can think of is provided and catered for. The games barn is exceptional and we all made great use if it during our stay. The cottages are also very dog friendly and the 4 legged members of our family were made to feel very welcome. The location is fantastic for visiting the New Forest and Dorset alike, we had a lovely holiday and would definitely return. Many thanks

This is a beautiful ancient farmhouse. On the one hand it gives the feeling of stepping a few centuries back in time, and on the other has all the modern facilities for a comfortable stay. We were delighted with the kitchen: it was very cosy and had everything we needed for cooking. There is a games room on the property which proved ideal when the rain set in. A lovely place, full of character.

The cottage was warm and cosy. There was nothing we needed that was there. Obviously the owner had given great thought to the contents. The bed was as good as at home and we both had very good night’s sleep. The garden was great for our dogs. The games barn was quirky. Our grandson loved the skittles. Would be a godsend when the weather is poor. We are definitely planning another visit in the very near future. Would recommend to family and friends.

Everything about this place was better than expected. We went with children and teenagers who really enjoyed the games barn. The garden is really beautiful and there are lots of thoughtful touches. Would definitely visit again.

This is the third time that I have stayed at Wishing Well Cottage and I can't to visit again! The cottage is cosy, comfortable and charming. The bedroooms are a good size with really comfortable beds and pillows - you literally sink into them. The kitchen is a good size, very well stocked with everything you need and a cosy lounge. The garden is beautiful with mature trees, shrubs and a garden swing. The games room is genius! A great room to be in especially if the weather is wet, great for entertaining the kids! Christine is always on hand should you need anything and is very welcoming. An ideal holiday venue!
