We took the bus to Chivay and it was easy to get a taxi to Miskiwasi. The family that runs it is very nice, and the food was great. They also helped us get a tour for the next day and onward to Arequipa. I would give it a five except we thought the room was a bit small, and... More

Don't think twice: When going there you will: - stay in a quiet place - be welcome by its owner as you were their preferred guest: he will always listen to your requirements and take care of it in a very polite and professional way - be fed with quality food This was by far our best experience in Peru.... I live in Peru and when my family came to visit I stayed at Miskiwasi with my parents. We loved the room, a two level kind of cabin with great bathroom and nice decor, the garden and we especially loved the food. We ended up staying an extra night with our lovely hosts. They helped us organize a trip to... More

I stayed 1 night at this B&B. The room was comfortable and spacious although a bit cold even with the electrical heater on, however we covered ourselves with the thick blankets and were fine. The B&B grounds is beautiful, the garden was well taken care of. The ownwer, Elar was very kind and advised us which short take to do... More

We went to Miskiwasi twice for dinner and the food was excellent. This is a family B&B and we were surprised to find such a nice place in the small town of Yanque. If you want to have candlelight dinner this is the place to go. I can only highly recommend this place.

We were sad to only have one night here. This is an amazing little B&B and not too expensive. There are only 4-5 rooms but each is big with its own nice bathroom. They have a little restaraunt with great ambiance, and the owners are sweethearts. They also have wifi and very comfortable beds. We chose to stay here and... More

This place is really nice, the owner is very friendly and helpful and the food is very good just like all the other reviews have said. Yanque is a great place if you like day hikes and hot springs. We stayed 3 nights which was perfect

Two nights for us here in this friendly B&B and in a lovely small village not far from Chivay. The smiling owner was fantastic throughout with information and help. Breakfast was fine but supper a bit basic. The walk through the village and into the countryside recommended by the owner was wonderful.

The owner and his wife run the place (and I met one of their daughters, who was lovely!). They were ultra-helpful. We traveled Peru (all over) for about 3 weeks, and at the end of the trip we discussed which "restaurant" we liked best. We agreed we enjoyed the food at this B&B the best! It was wonderful! We stayed... More

Lovely staff and super helpful making tour arrangements for us. The 3 hour walk that Elar's daughter guided was highly enjoyable and recommended. The breakfast is delicious and generous. The restaurant is a great option for dinner as well. Very comfortable and cozy rooms, great beds and a really nice courtyard in which to read and relax. Quiet location as... More
