The sun shines, the hotel has a good pool and the atmosphere tells you that you have escaped. The rooms may be a little old and the service not always as fast as yo might like but the beds are comfortable and what is your hurry? Prices are reasonable, especially in the restaurant. Get away from the drear of winter... More

Loved this place! Its like 1km from town, so you need to catch a mototaxi/taxi for S/.1 (1 sol) to get to town, but its so worth it! We had it practically to ourselves. You can go down to the river without leaving the property, lay out/swim and just relax. The breakfast included was nice, too. And the rooms had... More

Really nice place, with avocado trees and a pool in the garden. We also got a nice breakfast included :) We did arrive a little late, but they were the only one who actually opened up, as we got rejected a lot of other places.

We had a great night at Rio Alto, the food was very good, the piscos as well... ! They've got a great spot near the mountain, the pool was very inviting. They were renovating part of the hotel at the time, I'm sure it's even better now. I was a bit humid in the rooms, but that was mostly due... More

A great place to stay for a weekend away from Lima. The rooms are clean but small, and those by the pool have a great view of the local mountain. The highlight is the Hotel garden, which overlooks the river, beautiful to relax and unwind in......We will be back....

The view and the grounds are gorgeous - though beware insect life down by the river. The rooms are small and a bit 'lived in' but OK and clean. The restaurant was fine though dinner on a second night would have necessitated a trip into Lunahuana, 1km away.
