Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This wasn’t our usual style of accommodation but we went for it as it seemed so reasonable compared to other rip off places on the island.

It was so clean, comfortable, peaceful, and the reviews were amazing. Quite far from the action but we knew that when we booked it - you need a hire car which we sorted on arrival.

The contact with the owners prior to arriving was also great.

I'd like to start by saying that this is the perfect place if you're looking for a truly romantic Greek experience. We spent three amazing weeks here. The staff are always helpful, the rooms comfortable and spacious, breakfast is delicious. There's a small, but exotic beach nearby and the water is crystal clear. Highly recommend this top-notch destination for a perfect holiday.

We recently spent 7 wonderful days at Glyfa Village. Christina and staff were all lovely. The breakfast was so delicious, well done Christina for all you did for us, and your wonderful hospitality. We found the position excellent for visiting all parts of the island.

I have made a booking in this hotel through "booking.com." While we were already in Paros and staying in another hotel I received an email from booking.com stating that Glyfa village made a mistake and in that respect we had no reservation in Glyfa Village. That email was sent just five days before our reservation. That happened in the middle of the most busy period in which there were no worthy available flats/studios in the island. They do not even bothered to contact us not even to apologize for the great inconvenience they caused. They just recommended (through booking.com) a room in a pension which was simply unsuitable for a family with two babies (as we also visited this). I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless they're aiming to risk their vacations while arriving at the island to find themselves without a hotel booking. Do not stay there under any circumstances.

If you are looking for a pool, loud music, facilities or room service, look away. This is a place to stay where you buy your own groceries/breakfast items etc (there is an excellent deli in Dryos - that's only a five minute drive), you walk 21 steps down to a quiet beach with no sunbeds (although there is a taverna/a place where you can get a coffee, snacks etc) and need to have a car to go around the island (Naousa is a 25 minute drive and Parikia is a 20 minute drive). There is daily maid service by Litsa, an equipped kitchenette (a/c and refridgerator are there), cable TV, a veranda with a good quality parasol and a superb view over the sea and Naxos island. Kostas Roussos, the Greek version of surfer dude is omnipresent and ever so helpful. This place is spotless! Also, everything works fine, the a/c, the fridge, the plumbing. We stayed there for a week and only contacted Kostas upon checkout, to settle the bill!
The only thing we missed: wifi...Kostas is doing his best but apparently there is a lot of red tape involved to bring 3G to Glyfa...

I have booked month ago a deluxe room for august via Web site Booking. The owner has confirmed the reservation and welcome me. Two month later, I have been informed that the hotel glyfa village has cancelled the room because of error of their own staff when booking...they have 10 rooms to manage, so it is difficult to believe that the real story. Be careful with this hotel when using Booking Web site

Unfortunately our experience in Glyfa Village was not pleasant.
We stayed 10 days, and on the 7th day my daughter saw a mouse in the kitchen.
We informed the owners, they came and they checked, but they did not find it.

They started asking my daughter (8 yrs) whether she is sure she saw the mouse, and in the end of the day they said that even if it was there, now it is gone.

The very same night, I heard strange noises from the kitchen cupboard, and it was obvious that the mouse was still there, trapped. At around 22:30 I call the owner, no reply. I leave a message, but no reply at all.

In the end of the day I had to sleep (actually we did not sleep at all....) with my whole family in the apartment, knowing that the mouse was inside the cupboard!

The next day, I inform the owners, and they removed the mouse, after dismantling the cupboard.
However, they said nothing, nothing to say regarding the fact that we did not sleep at all the previous night....

I am very sorry, but this was the worst customer service I had in my whole life....

The only good thing about this hotel is the view, the customer service is totally unacceptable.....
