At first I wasn’t sure where I was as it was so isolated in Drios but then again it was isolation we wanted from the noise of Mykonos the previous few days and this place catered to all of our needs. On arrival we were met at the door by Christian who showed us around and we had drinks brought to us (non-alcoholic) over looking breathtaking views.

We were then brought to our room which was very secluded from other rooms as it was surrounded by trees, room is small but very comfortable with all you need, mini bar, air con, tv, wardrobes etc

Anything we needed we just had to ask, everything is done by QR code to checking dinner menu, room service, even a choice of what pillions you wished to have. We had one evening meal and it was sooo delicious (try the grab on the starter, to die for)
Breakfast was efficient and lovely, you really need strawberries though.
The hotel was very kind to order taxis and order a Quad for driving around for us and we thank them for that.
One small issue was the pool, you filter system was not great and the pool seems dirty so it might be a good idea to give your pools more attention. Other than that I really can’t fault this hotel, if you want peace and quiet with very very good food, incredible views, then you can’t go wrong with this. Hotel. Golden beach less than 10 min drive away, Naousa about 20mins drive away. Anti Paros island which we spent some time on about 20mins drive away also, ferry was €3, €6.50 with a car/quad

Kalimera, hello,

We spent a bit more than a week @ -Cal me- and had a nice relaxing time despite the fact that we lost our luggage in Athens.

A big shout out to Valeria and Katerina who were definitely the "little sun shines" who highlighted our days! ;) not to forget the whole staff; from the smiley cleaning girls, Christian, Alexandros and the people working in and around the kitchen.

We booked the "Chives" suite and liked the privacy, the very large patio with the cosy couch corner, the good bedding, the fluffy towels & bathrobes and coco mat slippers!

We would have liked having two comfy armchairs or one little couch in the bedroom instead of two garden chairs.

An upgrade of the sink in the bathroom would also be a necessity - a magnifying mirror was really missing too.

We had a car so we were able to explore the island and beaches and were eating in typical tavernas.

Drop me a line if you have any questions; I would be very glad to help!

Kind regards, Sara

To be honest: i am amazed of this place!!
But i feel i have to start from the mist important point. Health.
We have been around for a week island hopping with my friend. In no other place we felt so safely protected from Covid. Usually we go around with masks and disinfecting tissues. Here we needed none. They have thought of everything. All staff over friendly and with style wear masks. Not the fabric ones. Real medical masks covering mouth and nose correctly. Everything not covid safe has been removed. Discrete but effectively they have done all needed for you to feel safe.
So yes. You can visit paros being safe here.
To go on ... the positive surprise continues in every detail. I am an design addict. Into detail. Here i felt like home. Everything is planned in detail. Minimalistic Cycladic architecture in its best. Every architectural detail every item is special. Even the mosquito repellant is a design object.
Add a friendly classy personnel dressed in pure white and you find yourself in a total quality relaxing environment.
Breakfast in a terrace where you actually oversee 5 islands as a Greek God looking down in the rough deep blue of the Aegean sea.
Congrats ant THANK YOU. amazing place

Upon arrival we were greeted with a friendly smile by Elisabeth and she showed us to our room and delivered our suitcases. As we had arrived late we ordered room service, the food was nice but not value for money as there was not much of it. We had a couple of bottles of wine that were also via room service which I must say were very nice. The room (oregano) was lovely but small things make a big difference when a hotel is graded 5 star. Unfortunately, for me , it didn’t quite make the grade, little things like the wardrobe, not long enough to hang my dresses properly. No do not disturb facility, so staff could come up the stairs to the veranda at any time, also the veranda was overlooked by the staff quarters and the kitchen, therefore while we were sunbathing or swimming we could be seen. The communal pool wall was also adjacent to us and people were able to look directly into our room and outside space. There are no curtains in the room only shutters on the outside of which ours did not close properly and blew open on a couple of nights because it was so windy. Housekeeping was very good and left things spotless with lovely fresh sheets and towels daily but they didn’t always leave a bin liner in the bathroom bin or leave our daily bottle of complimentary water which I had to ask for more than once. The coffee pods (illy) not always replenished and coffee cups the size of an egg cup was all that was in the room initially. I like a proper cup of coffee in the morning and my partner likes a cup of tea, no tea bags in the room, so we went out and bought some along with some milk from the shop at the bottom of the hill. This said, I asked for a kettle and some proper cups and they were bought to the room in an instant. I know this all sounds a bit negative but I feel I have to give a true reflection of what I thought, although these things are only simple, it’s the little things that make a difference and shouldn’t be an issue for such a luxury property. The positives are that the views are stunning, everything is spotless, the staff are very kind and helpful. We asked for an ATV for a couple of days and the staff organised that for us. We travelled out to Lefkes, Parakia, Naoussa and Monastri beach, all not to be missed. We had dinner in the restaurant on our final evening and I must say the food from the restaurant on the outdoor terrace was absolutely stunning with beautiful views of Naxos in the evening light. Breakfast was lovely, a simple menu that you had to order singularly each item that you wanted and the quality was lovely, always served with a smile. As the hotel is situated a good 15 minute walk up hill from Dryos beach and the closest restaurants I would suggest hiring a vehicle unless you want to keep walking up and down the hill in the heat. As the location was quite remote I found that added a degree tranquility to the hotel which for me was perfect. I am glad we experienced Calme Boutique and we did have a lovely holiday , it just didn’t quite hit the spot for us but I’m sure they will, in time, get things perfect with constructive feedback and reviews.

Calme by name and Calme by nature- far from the bustling crowds of Naoussa, this boutique hotel is in the hillside atop sleepy Drios with stunning sea views. Each room has its own pool and is fitted out in typical Greek island style. Excellent breakfasts are served on the balcony. The staff is particularly helpful and advise which beaches are safe from the prevailing winds each morning. They can ring ahead to book lounges at beach clubs, provide cold water, towels and a beach bag. They can also make dinner reservations- we ate at Kyma in Drios on their recommendation and had a really fabulous meal. Our room was the Thyme suite and was very roomy and comfortable. The cleaning staff kept it immaculate. We had a lovely stay and would love to return some day.

The hotel is located in a wonderful location. The view from each room and the main area is simply unforgettable. You will find yourself immerse in such a stunning atmosphere. The rooms are v nice. Each room as a beautiful pool with an amazing view on Naxos and other minor islands. The restaurant is a gastronomique treat from the usual (good) food of the island. Golden Beach and Lolantoni beach are close by the hotel (5 minutes by car). This hotel is simply unique. Valerie at the reception is also v kind and always ready to help.

Wow what to say. We just left Calme after staying 3 nights for our honeymoon and I already want to return. It is the most spectacular hotel in every way. The staff treats you like you are family, and can literally arrange ANYTHING you could ever want for you. This is true 5 star service. I will be recommending this hotel to everyone.

The hotel is stunning with some of the cleanest, and nicely laid out rooms I’ve ever seen. We stayed in the Chives suite and loved it. The private pool is incredible and the view is breathtaking. They cleaned our room twice a day, and everything was always spotless.

The breakfast is delicious. We really enjoyed it every morning.

The hotel is located in a quieter part of Paros, but we didn’t mind. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle that will take you around the village so we took it to Golden Beach one day (a 5 min drive) and it was a fantastic beach. We also used the bus (3 euros each) to go into the more “busy” part of the island, Naoussa. The bus was SO easy, clean and air conditioned. We found no need to rent a car, but a lot of people do. But I’m telling you the bus was so easy.

We fell in love with Drios village. There are a few restaurants like Kima Seaside and The Green Project that we loved. There is also a market with everything you need like wine, water, snacks, etc. The hotel is located on top of a VERY steep hill—we walked it a few times but it is definitely good exercise to get up it! Be prepared!

Thank you to Valeria, Christin, Katerina, Marsel, and the entire staff at Calme. You truly made our honeymoon so magical. We miss you already!

On our six-city tour of Greece this hotel comes out on top: the view is draw-dropping; the accommodations were lovely; the hospitality was extraordinary and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. I travel the world professionally (over 20 countries and counting) and it was the first time in my life that the concierge welcomed us when we got out of the car, and literally waved us goodbye.

The property is not on the beach, which for some travelers may be a deal-breaker. I highly recommend getting a rental car on Paros, because the taxis are expensive and once you are on this property there isn't really anywhere to go unless you're up for a hike. So, plan meals accordingly, and purchase any incidentals before arriving (sunscreen, large water bottles, bug spray, etc.). The property was great about restaurant reservations (they got us into Barbarossa in Naousa) and when we wanted a rental car they arranged the entire thing.

I can't recommend this place highly enough. It's a small property which makes you feel very special and taken care of, but also means they sell out quickly. Book now.

After 6 years, we were looking forward to returning to this hotel. We stayed in Thyme room this time which was slightly larger than Rosemary last time. The room was perfect but from a location perspective, Rosemary, being on the end was more private with a more expansive view. We only had breakfast on the property this time and it was wonderful. We hope to return again one day!

While on a quieter part of the island, it is no more than 30 min from anywhere you would want to go. It seemed there were more taxis and other options for trans portion than there were years ago but I would still recommend renting a car.

This boutique hotel truly deserves the name and absolutely delivers the experience that we all want and hope for whenever we book a boutique hotel (but often not get - different here!)
From the amazing welcome, the extremely friendly staff that even waited for our delayed arrival in the kitchen to get their exquisite dining experience ready for us, up to the exceptionally friendly and helpful reception staff, waiters, cleaning staff, up to the luggage boy.
Every day starts with an amazing breakfast and believe you me, I have very high standards here and this hotel ticks all the boxes and matches a superb menu of choices with an incredible service, where the waiter remembers your choice from the previous day, makes an effort to get every request and make it happen. Just wow!!
The rooms were so nice and while that isn’t a stand alone criteria among 5 star properties, the space, especially for bathrooms and luggage really makes the difference.
We had the pleasure of a room with a share pool, but that one had the full length for swimming, which made all the difference for my wife, who swims a lot during her pregnancy. The other rooms are super nice too and the staff really help with anything and everything.
