I stayed here for 6 nights 21-27 April. Just a few minutes walk to the JR Kanda station which is great. My room was spotless. The air con was great due to it being 24c at night. The staff were so helpful too. Lost my camera back in Kyoto and they phoned the police for me and I even got...

This place is nice and close to the kanda train station which is on the Tokyo loop line (JR). The room was quite big for total standards and did the job. It had a fair few power points which was good as we needed them! The bathroom was hard to sit on the toilet straight on but didn't really bother...

A good business hotel. Reception speak very little English but are very nice. Across the road from the Comfort Inn. Quiet neighborhood, but close to Kanda metro station and many reasonable small restaurants. Large rooms (for Tokyo) available for not much more.

Great location a short walk from the train station, very helpful and polite staff, clean and cosy with modern facilities, very comfy beds and linens. Bathroom was spotless and the shower was suited even to me at 192cm tall. Would recommend to anyone staying in Tokyo.

Great, courteous and English-speaking front desk staff. They were very helpful and went extra mile to answer questions and to provide help. The hotel is in a good location - about 10 minutes from Akihabara and about 5 minutes from the Kanda Station on foot. There is 7-Eleven close by (3-minute walk)where we bought our meals and other needs. I...

Small rooms in an old hotel but the rooms were clean. Bathroom was very small. Lobby underwhelming but friendly staff. Easy walk to Akihabara. We were only there for 1 night. Would stay again on another short stay. Price very reasonable.

Neighbourhood Profile
Ochanomizu / Akihabara / Kanda
Ochanomizu boasts its academic foundations starting with Yushima Seido, the birthplace of modern day Japanese education. The area has kept its college town feel with several university campuses. If you head towards Jinbocho, you'll find musical instrument and sports equipment shops, and an area of used bookstores for students and anyone interested in literature and the arts. Akihabara is well-known for its computer and electronic goods stores, and is now hugely popular as the must-visit mecca for people interested in anime and games. Kanda is an office district where you can find loads of reasonably priced izakayas popular with professionals who stop to eat and drink before making their way home.
