Akasaka, Roppongi
Not so long ago the Akasaka and Roppongi areas were famous for their nightlife, high-class restaurants, bars and clubs. More recently, with the opening of Roppongi Hills, Tokyo Midtown and Akasaka Sacas, the area has declared itself as the most fashionable spot to be seen. The area also hosts the National Art Center and the Mori Art Museum and lots of trendy art galleries.

I stayed here with family for one week and had booked the corner king suite which was a good decision as, even though the room was expensive, the floor to ceiling walls with excellent Tokyo views, were worth it. The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was also

Greeting was as expected - warm, caring, eager to look after suitcases etc. Enjoyed our stay as it was in a part of Tokyo that we rarely frequent - we tend to concentrate on Shibuya / Harajuku. We tended to use the Origami Lounge as most meals were with friends in other

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for the first leg of our trip to Japan last month. Firstly, the location is a dream as it's connected to the metro station (which has several lines) so we were very lucky in this regard. The service was seamless and the staff are so warm and

Stayed here for a couple nights while on business. Immediately greeted at the door and taken to the check-in counter. Very friendly and effective experience. Went up to my extremely clear, well appointed and quiet room. The room layout for my King Executive Suite was perfectly

This is a very classy hotel with modern features. The shower was my favorite! One issue I did have with the hotel was that they don’t allow more than 2 people to stay in a room. I can see charging a little more for additional people but not allowing it at all is crazy.

Dear lamer14, Thank you very much for your review. The limit of 2 adults per room is basically the limit our beds can take. We do accept children up to 9 years old to share beds with their parents. Some of our rooms (Corner or Premium types) are large enough to allow us to put an extra-bed to accommodate one extra person in the room if necessary. Please contact our Front Desk or House Keeping at any time for more information about our beds. We are looking forward to welcome you again during your next visit in Tokyo. Regards, Richard Gouy Duty Manager

The room I stayed was a king size bed with a size of 57m2 and it is big enough for 3 but will be very tight for 4(including children). However, the room is very spacy and there is a long sofa which can accommodate a child to sleep on.

Does the hotel have babysitting service?
Dear Li-the-traveller, Thank you for your inquiry. The Capitol Hotel Tokyu does not provide a in-house babysitting service but we can arrange a babysitter through a company called Poppins. We do have an arrangement so you can charge the service directly to your room. The rate for this service will depend on the number of children, the length and the time of the babysitting. Please send an email to our Concierge team with your reservation details so we can arrange a babysitter. We are looking forward to welcome you and your family in the near future. Regards, Richard Gouy Duty Manager
