We booked ourselves into this hotel for 2 nights as a treat to end our Japan visit and a treat it was! Booking online from Australia felt a bit stilted but we followed the instructions and joined the Imperial Club before booking and as a consequence we were treated to a room upgrade, additional discounts and a 18:00hrs checkout. The... More

This was a truly great experiance with the best service and care we could have wished for. We stayed for 3 nights, and were situated near the top of one of their towers with a view over the city, which was great at night as the lights of the city came on. The hotel has its own shopping arcade as... More

This classic luxury hotel is excellent. You might find newer, bigger, better equipped hotels, but few match its great service. Very well located next to the Emperors Palace, close to Ginza and in front of Hibya Park. Rooms are good, but small by modern standards of luxury hotels. Very quite and great beds make sure you rest, to get over... More

The rooms are comfortable, very well appointed and maintained. The service of all staff - Reception, Concierge, Elevator greeting staff and others is first class. I travel a lot but I've never been to a hotel where the entire staff waits to greet you at the door. Everyone bows to greet you and I was assigned a personal attendant who took care of everything I needed, from ironing to suggestion on where to eat. She left origami flowers and Halloween cookies on my first night.... More

I traveled to Tokyo with my two children and we knew that were going to be a little over our head with the whole experience and this hotel could not have been a better first introduction to Tokyo and Japan. It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. We booked a... More

This traveler does not often stay in luxury hotels, so can't compare this property to other luxury properties. The stay here was excellent: someone was there to assist with bags, no queue at check-in or check-out. The room (12th floor, facing south) was clean, quiet and comfortable. Not surprisingly, prices are high (for example, the breakfast in the hotel restaurant... More

We spent 5 nights at the Imperial Hotel and loved it. The lobby was beautiful with a lovely bar area. The service was impeccable. The staff all spoke English. The rooms were delightful. There was a shopping area in the basement level. We had breakfast in the street level diner that was perfect. It was a great area to be... More

Can't fault this hotel...very grand, friendly staff, next to Hibiya metro station, walking distance to anything around Ginza...and just a stone's throw away from the Yurakucho "under the train tracks" food/bar stretch. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The Old Imperial Bar on the first floor is great - even if it's closed by midnight. We stayed at the sullen Westin... More
