Just arrived into Tokyo and check into the for a night sleep with the family before we board the train for Nagano. Hotel is located near the Palace and only 10 mins to the Tokyo Railways. We stayed at the Japanese Style room for 3. Small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was included (choice of continental or Japanese) and the... More

Great situation in Central Tokyo overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens and with a view of Tokyo Tower. Two minute walk from Exit One of Hanzomon Subway Station. Good standard hotel; usual small Japanese room with everything you need for your comfort and very quiet. Very helpful English speaking staff. Would definitely stop here again.

The location is awesome and the view of Tokyo skyline absolutely stunning. It takes roughly 5 minutes to get the hotel from the Subway. If you have a heavy luggage you'd be better off taking the exit number 2 with a bit longer walk to the hotel. Exit number 1 doesn't have an escalator nor elevator. The room was very... More

The hotel was not easy to find if you do not know the way. We were lost and had to ask for directions at Family Mart. The booking website mentioned that Exit 1 was nearest but Exit 3 has escalator so we took Exit 3. Turned out, there was still a flight of stairs to tackle at Exit 3. What... More

We stayed in August 2016, and it was extremely hot in Tokyo. We had gone on a cruise then had three days in Tokyo. This hotel is not too far from the train, but we got lost (so it took us longer to get there). The staff was so helpful. They not only let us leave our bags for a... More

The hotel is in a neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle of Tokyo's glitter and glitz. On the other hand, it is across the street to the (rear) entrance to the Imperial Palace park, which also houses several museums. But to get to Ginza and other places of street life you have to take the metro several stops, the... More

Located near Nanzomon subway station and Imperial Palace. Small room but very clean. Friendly staff. Linen and towels changed every day. Breakfast in not buffet, there are 3 choices of set menus : american, continental and japanese. Each of which is small for someone who likes to start the day with a substantial breakfast

Great location with amazing views and a good size room compared to many in tokyo. I have stayed in cheaper hotels with ability to recharge mobiles etc via USB but this wasn't available here which was a minus point in this day and age of technology etc. Would definitely look to stop here again

The hotel is close to Hanzomon Metro station, around 300 m. We got a Japanese style room, which to be honest was not convenient. The room provided a fair space, no English TV channel. No coffee or drinking water provided! If planning to travel out of Tokyo by train or shinkansen, staying at this hotel is not a good idea.... More

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
