Good location for those doing business in this area. Room is large for Tokyo standards, amenities are simple. My room is on the fifteenth floor and water pressure in the shower is a dribble. I will not be staying here again despite the proximity to my office.

If you are looking for a decent hotel in a quiet distract in Tokyo, then this is the one for you. The hotel is just only 5 minutes’ walk from exit 3, Hanzomon Station. If you carry heavy luggage with you, then better use exit 5 where there’s a lift. Hotels in Tokyo on a Saturday night are expensive and...

The room was nice and big enough for two people. It was pretty clean, and the staff cleaned the room every day, even taking all of our huge amounts of daily trash away. We got new free bathroom items and tea everyday. They even had vending machines in the hallway and had a few konbini stores just a few minutes...

I booked this hotel a long time ago to ensure that we could get a room. It was a great location, not too far from Tokyo station or subway. We love to walk around outside of Imperial Palace. We woke up early and got to see the beautiful sunrise with Tokyo Tower. Staffs there are super nice and work efficiently....

Our room in another location, without the view, would rate a three or four. Small, a large double bed, along one wall, perhaps originally designed for one occupant. Only one bed reading light, and overall not the best lighting arrangement, a standard lamp in one corner, and a strip light over the desk. Desk with drawers, fridge under, only green...

Grand arc hotel is an amazing choice close to hanzomon underground station (Z08) and with a breathtaking view on the Emperor's garden. We were at 15th floor and we could enjoy a great view at night. Rooms are small as in every Japanese hotel but totally comfy. Great bathroom and facilities (vending machine and Ice at the floor). Breakfast is...

I spent weeks researching hotels for our trip to Japan and eventually came across this one. I am so glad I did because I could not really fault it for what was a really decently priced hotel for Tokyo. Our room was small (but this is usual in Japan from what I can tell) but it was perfect for the...

First of all, the room overlooked the little island surrounded by water that houses the Imperial Palace. It was truly gorgeous, especially just past sundown. The room was smallish, but I really didn't care because it was an incredibly thrifty option that didn't feel terribly thrifty as it is a super lovely area of Tokyo. There are nice little restaurants...

Just arrived into Tokyo and check into the for a night sleep with the family before we board the train for Nagano. Hotel is located near the Palace and only 10 mins to the Tokyo Railways. We stayed at the Japanese Style room for 3. Small but clean and tidy. Breakfast was included (choice of continental or Japanese) and the...

Great situation in Central Tokyo overlooking the Imperial Palace Gardens and with a view of Tokyo Tower. Two minute walk from Exit One of Hanzomon Subway Station. Good standard hotel; usual small Japanese room with everything you need for your comfort and very quiet. Very helpful English speaking staff. Would definitely stop here again.

Staying in Yotsuya / Iidabashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Yotsuya / Iidabashi
Yotsuya and Iidabashi are areas that developed around the outer moat of the Imperial palace. Nearby in Kagurazaka, there is an old red-light district with a photogenic feel evocative of the ambiance of old Tokyo. Narrow paths with stone paving remain to this day, and there are long-standing restaurants with geishas and quaint old cafes in townhouse buildings.
