Ginza, Tokyo Nihonbashi
Ginza is famous for being a trendy hotspot, but it's also a downtown area with shops that were founded over a hundred years ago. Department stores and luxury boutiques line the route from Nihonbashi to Ginza. It's a long established tradition to shop and stroll while the road is closed to traffic. Luxury hotels, world class cuisine from talented chefs, and a collection of glitzy clubs will make this area popular with anyone looking for a night out.

My husband and I stayed in the Marunouchi Hotel our first night in Tokyo because it was close to Tokyo Station. The front desk staff was very helpful by offering to hold our snowboard bags in storage and making check-in and check-out a breeze. In addition, when we were

Located almost on top of Tokyo Station and close to the finish line of the Tokyo Marathon it was the right place for us . Very friendly staff and great restaurants on location. The rooms were a little too small after my taste and the queen size bed a little too small as well.

The hotel is very well located as it near the Tokyo Central Station. Otherwise the rooms were good, with very good hygiene. Staff were very polite and helpful. Room service was timely though was restricted on timings.

Tokyo central station at night
No washing machine only the usual over-priced laundry service. The only hotels I've stayed at in Japan that have laundry machines are the APA chain.

does the narita limousine bus stop near the hotel?
It's a bit confusing trying to navigate stations in Tokyo. You cannot simply walk out any entrance or else you could be miles away from where you want to be. For the Marunouchi, Take the Marunouchi North Exit, cross the big zebra crossing and walk into the shopping mall. The hotel entrance is about 50 metres inside on the right.

Not only will they hold your luggage, but they will also store it and send it to your next hotel. We did this because we took a side trip to Kyoto and only wanted to bring backpacks onto the train. The hotel stored our large suitcases and then forwarded them to our next destination upon our return to Tokyo. So convenient!

Is there a fitness facility??
There is a small gym on one of the floors. I cannot remember offhand which floor but staff will direct you. It's not fancy but it works in a pinch.

No sound. Pro tip: If you are on one of the higher floors, the rail lights make for a cool photograph.
