We stayed here with a friend for ten whole days exploring Tokyo. The location is in Chuo / Akihabara, and it has very good transportation connections to different subway and train lines. The closest station is Kodemmacho, but we used other stations as well, varying where we were going (e.g. Ningyocho to the airport, Bakuroyokoyama to Shinjuku). It has many restaurants nearby (we found a nice ramen restaurant who also served cheap gyoza!), and a konbini right next door.

The hotel itself was nice, especially during New Years with their gorgeous decorations. The staff was very friendly (as expected from Japan), and they accommodated to all our needs - extra pillows and blankets delivered to our door, and some Aspirin in the long hours. They're available 24/7, and they speak good English. The room was small, but clean and sufficient to our needs. You couldn't hear anything from other rooms, but if someone was talking in the hallway, you could hear it like they were standing next to you. The room came with a pocket wifi/telephone (300 yen / day), which was very handy! They also had a laundromat and a dryer (100 yen / laundry, 100 yen / 30 min of drying). Washing powder was included.

I would recommend this hotel, if you're a bit on a budget, and don't mind a small room - that being said, Japanese hotel rooms are quite small in general. The location is great, the staff is great, and it had all the things I look for in a hotel. Mini-fridge was necessary, as the hotel didn't provide breakfast, only hot coffee in the lobby every morning. As there was a Family mart right next door, we didn't need a breakfast service either.

Thank you for having us!

This is a very good hotel, with very good access to everything, and the location is great. Excellent in-room facilities, wi-fi, hot and cold water, shower, etc, and professional behaviour by the staff, who is helpful. Most of them speak in English and can give directions well. But the hotel staff could have been a little more helpful with more tourist information. They provided details upon being asked for, but given the tourist value of the hotel and its location and the vast number of brochures they have on display, they could have taken a little more initiative to tell us about tours and other sightseeing information in advance for us to plan a little better. Good free coffee and milk/tea facility and other services, but no breakfast/restaurant in the hotel. However, there are excellent eateries just next door, including a Yoshinoya and a Family Mart as well as a Seven Eleven. Rooms are a bit small, but well organised. Room has a great view of the main road but window cannot be opened. We got the room for a very cheap price and it was a great experience overall.

I booked this hotel through a deal from Agoda. It’s fairly close to a couple of subway stations and about a 15-minute walk from the Tokyo Stn.

The rooms are small and the bed is more like a wide cot and was creaky. Can’t say it was comfortable. But it’s clean, shower’s nice and hot, and the staff was friendly.

There are plenty of places to have dinner or drinks nearby, plus a convenience store is just down the street.

It’s not a bad place to stay if you’re catching an early train out of the Tokyo Stn.

Really good value of price,

Quite small room & small a bit hard bed. But otherwise everything was really great. Good location near metrostations, fridge & bath tub. Friendly staff.

Leaving the key every time when you leave the room was a small minus.

Free coffee at the reception.

Very nice and clean hotel, and affordable too. Single room was a bit small but this added to the charm of Tokyo. Front desk staff were helpful. It's a bit difficult to find, so keep your eyes peeled. It's in a nice, quiet area, close enough to the subway stop that you can walk there.

Overall, our experience at this hotel was very good. We are a couple (husband is 6'3, built, I'm 5'3, petite). We stayed there for 9 nights and had a blast!

The pros:
-Free wifi in the lobby: If you're an iphone/android user, looking for free wifi in Tokyo...you know how difficult that is to find. That's why we felt so fortunate to have free wifi in the lobby. If you have a laptop, you will have free wired internet connection in your room.
-Great location: There is a convenience store practically right next door. Starbucks is a couple blocks away (no free wifi though). Subways were very close - about 5 -10 minute walk. Tons of places to each and drink. Love the sushi restaurants in that area. There is a community center (about 15 minute walk) where you can workout at their gym for 400yen for 2 hours. They have treadmills, bikes, weights, machines and even classes! We went a few times and it was like working out in the states!
-Clean, decent rooms: Standard cleaning - towels, sheets changed daily...also robes. Air conditioning can be set to low, med, or high. There was a refrigerator, plus freezer. There is a small table and chairs which we didn't use much except to put our stuff on top. There was also a desk and a seat...and a tv.
-Bathroom was pretty nice. The tub deep. The ceiling and shower head was low for my husband but he didn't complain too much. The shampoo and conditioner were better quality than most hotels. You can also get free toothbrush and toothpaste daily. Not much counter space on the sink though but enough to put our toiletries. Oh and try out the butt spray or bidet when using their toilets! ;-)
-Front desk: very helpful, spoke enough English, they were great with wake up calls, they always got phone messages.

The cons:
-Small Bed: The bed is small but we both fit and was able to tolerate each other on the space. Before we chose this hotel, we did a thorough research on this hotel, including contacting reviewers of this hotel to make sure we were going to be okay with the size of the bed. So we knew the bed was going to be small. To be comfortable, one of us had to sleep on our side which wasn't a huge problem for us. The bed was on the hard side...but we slept well with no issues.
-Small room: Though the room was clean,it was very small. The bed took up 90% of the space. We had two huge suitcases with us. We had to stack them on top of one another to make room.
-No closet/drawers: Since we were staying for 9 nights, so we would have liked to unpack but we really couldn't because there was no where to put our stuff. However, there were a couple of hooks with hangers for our nice shirts and dresses to hang up...but that's about it. I think they could put in a couple of decent size shelves on the walls - there is space for that.
-Smokers could be next door to you: The smell didn't really seep into our rooms but you can totally smell it in the hallway.

We thought the pros outweighed the cons in our situation since we were able to adapt. We didn't spend much time in our room, we just used it to basically sleep. We loved the neighborhood. I miss it already. We will definitely come back.

I recommend this hotel highly...but only if you're not picky about your sleeping situation. If you're a couple, make sure one or both of you are willing to sleep on your side. If you're just one person...no problem at all, you are good to go!

We stayed here for 9 nights and didn't regret one bit booking this hotel! Highly recommended as the hotel location is great, just a short 5 mins walk of about 300m to the nearest station, Kodenmacho Station (Tokyo Metro Subway Train). Ningyocho Station is also not far away, about 450m.

The room was small but expected. However, it was clean with comfy bed and pillows. Staff were friendly and always willing to help. It was very convenient as Family Mart is just beside of the hotel, and 7-Eleven is just a few shops down on the opposite road of the hotel. There are restaurants and cafes nearby as well.

All in all, two words; highly recommended! :)

As it was the end of a larger trip I was on a budget of sorts and considering I have traveled extensively from 3rd world capitals to other cities similar to Tokyo I was a tad apprehensive for what I was going to get for my dollar in 'the most expensive city in the world'.
I was pleasantly surprised by a number of things at the Horidome, of course I did expect the Japanese hospitality which was plentiful at the Horidome but what I also got was centrally located not two underground stops from Ginza, a very comfortable air conditioned room on the 8th floor with a reasonable view along with a fresh ironed gown on my bed every day as well as my green tea being re-stocked.
Although it is classified to be a business district, Kanto offers more with a number of eateries on your doorstep from your standard MacDonald’s through to traditional restaurants from cheap up to the not so cheap.
I tried varying and they were all very good quality.
There is also a reasonable amount of good shopping to do in the district with prices significantly lower than anywhere else in Tokyo, from souvenirs, clothing (business, fashionable & retro) there are lots of little streets that hold all these treasures.
Definitely worth the 20 min walk from the hotel is the 'Yodobashi Camera' department store that holds all of the best quality goods in stock from IT equipment, sporting goods, fashion and state of the art home entertainment systems.
All in all I highly recommend Horidome Villa and if on a similar budget next time I would definitely stay there.

Well as said In title the hotel is one the best hotels I stayed in and this is why:

GOOD:

1. SERVICE IS EXCELLENT...this goes a long way in assessing how good the hotel is..the staff were very nice , helpful, kind , very efficient, informative and while their English is limited, this was a very small problem...

2. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION : Well the hotel is smack dab in the middle of Tokyo...in fact...there are many restaurants ,bars, cafes, vending machines, convenience stores, subways etc around the hotel....I found it easy to get to and from the hotel using the public transpo system. ...

3. HOTEL IS CLEAN: The hotel is very clean mainly due to its very efficient staff who cleans the rooms every day...staff also very nice and considerate...hotel rooms also have good amenities, also the air conditioning is good considering I come from Vancouver canada and for me 25 is hot, the air conditioning handled it well, and they even have room fans in case you find the air not good enough...they also provide free tea, hot water flask, toothbrush, shaving implement....if you want more, well there is a very convenient family mart like 15 feet from the hotel entrance...

4. HOTEL IS GOOD MONEY...A BANG FOR THE BUCK....The hotel considering it's location is cheap for the price and you get a lot of bang for the buck...great service , clean rooms, good location...

BAD

1. Laundry machines not so good....while the washer is OK for small loads...the dryer is not working well and jeans and shirts can take like 1 hour to dry and pay like 100 yen...also only 2 laundry machines in the hotel and you can only laundry from 10 am to 9 pm....

2. WI FI not so good...well I found the WI fi slow so it's recommended to rent a portable wifi machine from the airport, much faster....

3. Room are small and somewhat moldy...room are very clean but somewhat moldy, however I did not find this to be a problem and in fact, i found it very easy to move around...bathroom sink is also well situated beside the tub so water does not spill...

Well as said despite some shortcoming...one of the best hotels I ever stayed in HIGHLY RECOMENDED

We went to Tokyo during 17-20 Mar after serch and read review from many sites, definitely the most reliable, TripAdvisor too. Our Hotel of Choice is Hotel Horidome Villa, Ningyocho in Central Tokyo.

The hotel is Faboulous and Affordable which offer from many sites www.hotels.com where we got our booking during the period around 185 USD for 3 nights similar to www.bookings.com where you pay at the hotel at 15000 Yen.

From Haneda Airport, you can take subway Keikyu/ Asakusa Line to Ningyocho Sta cost 590 Yen for Adult and 300 Yen for Child. Please ask station officer of the right train/time and track before board without changing train through Ningyocho Sta.
After reach Ningyocho Sta the closest Exit is A5 and for those who with Luggage Elecator Serve at Exit A6 from A5 take when you take stair to street level, turn left and turn left again at the junction for A6 just accross the junction head to Ningyocho Dori (Ningyocho Street), go straight all along Ningyocho Dori Hotel Horidome Villa located on your left and along the way you will find many restaurants, a big drug store&supermarket, a big stationary shop and just 1 building before reach the hotel Lawson, convenience store will be on your left next to Japanese Restuarant then the hotel front door. If you head further 1 building to Kodemmacho Sta/Subway Hibiya Line Yoshinoya, Beef-Pork Bowl which open 24 hour just right there.

The hotel located in between 2 Subway Stations Ningyocho Sta, subway Toei Asakusa Line / Hibiya Line and Kodemmacho Sta, subway Hibiya Line.
It's easy access to travel spots in Tokyo as for 1 Sta away from Kodemmacho to reach Akihabara, from Ningyocho Sta on Hibiya Line to reach Tsukiji, fish market in 3 Sta, and 3 Sta on Toei Asakusa Line to Ginza. The check in time is 15:00, if your room is not ready when you arrive, you can left your luggage at the hotel.
