Neighbourhood
Shibuya, Harajuku, Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.

I booked here as an spg member. The other option in my budget range was near the tokyo central station - but it looked small. When I travel for work I need space to spread out and work. The pictures looked like this could be it. Indeed, the room was good sized, clean and

It was one of the worst experiences ever. The families got together to celebrate our grandmother’s birthday at the Westin Hotel Tokyo, and it was terrible. The staffs made mistakes on the reservation (inhospitable and not at all apologetic), were all very blunt and were

It depends on which airport you arrive at. We arrived at Narita and took an bus, which we arranged when we arrived at Narita. I think it took about an hour to get to the hotel, stopping at other hotels on our way to the Westin. The bus was easy to arrange and is FAR, FAR cheaper than arranging a car. If you arrange for a car, be prepared for a high bill. By the way, taking the train is cheapest, but can really be challenging with luggage if the trains are crowded. You take a train to the Tokyo Central Rail Station then transfer to the Yamamoto Line and get off at the Ebisu station. Also, you’ll have to wheel your luggage from the Ebisu train station to the hotel, so I would suggest the bus, especially if it is your first trip to Tokyo. Save your first Tokyo train experience when you’re relatively empty-handed (the train system is excellent and it is the best way to get around).

Great breakfast buffet in the lobby, and in the executive lounge. Outstanding service in the lounge -- very friendly -- nice view too!
