The hotel was very close to the station and there are many restaurants around. Free water bottles at the entrance, along with their small breakfast which is basically some pastries and juice, tea and/or coffee you can take to your room. They left a nice toiletries bag in my room when it was cleaned, that had all sorts of stuff,... More

We stayed here for 2 nights on the tail end of our vacation. It is really well located, a stones throw from the metro station which is a few stops from Tokyo station. Its in a very touristy spot but thats not entirely bad. The restaurants and bars in the area (i.e, right next door) were all great. After a... More

What a gem of a hotel this is. Well located in the vibrant and exciting Akasaka area with plenty to excite the businessperson or tourist alike. Loads of bars, nightlife and great restaurants with easy access to the Tokyo Metro. The Airport Limousine Bus does it last stop at the Akasaka Excel Hotel and the Granbell is just a short... More

I am currently staying at this hotel for my first trip to Tokyo and I could not be more satisfied. Perfect position, just one minute on foot from Akasaka-Mitsuke metro station. This is really in the center of Tokyo and through the Ginza and Maronouchi lines you can reach all the coolest places of the city. The room is perhaps... More

The hotel is very well located. Akasaka is a well known bar and restaurant district with everything you need directly outside the hotel or within only a few minutes walk. The Tokyo metro station Akasaka-Mitsuke is also only a 2 min walk away meaning you have good access to everything in Tokyo. What was sad... the hotel's "breakfast". It really... More

Well I have stayed at the GranBell Akasaka now several times and it has quickly become my favorite place to stay when I am in Tokyo on business. First it provides easy access to the Akasaka-mitsuke Metro Station which is 5 minutes down the street and is no more than a 30 minute ride to my most common destinations. The... More

After having stayed at the Granbell Shibuya before we this time tried out the Akasaka branch, which is the newer property. We stayed in a premiere double room, which was quite big for Tokyo standards. I still like the beds in Granbell hotels, they're really comfy, which is very important. Bathroom was big a nice as well, nothing bad I... More

A really smart, modern, fresh hotel. A lovely base in Tokyo. Tiny rooms but very well planned and free coffee in lobby. Two minutes from tube station. Very good value prices. Cannot fault it. Perfect! ( Except the wifi was a bit erratic in our room- despite staff lending us a router for our room.)

Travelling solo overnight in Tokyo I simply needed a cheap room (around 10,000yen) and I thought I would try the Granbell Akasaka - it is an area I like. Location - only a short walk from the subway. Check-in - easy and friendly. I was informed of the free breakfast. I didn't actually have it, but it looked ok and... More
