A very nice hotel, convenient to Shinagawa Station. Huge rooms by Japanese standards and very quiet with it positioned next to a small park and on a quiet street. The hotel staff is good. This is a good option to get Marriott points while in Tokyo.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel, and cannot say enough about the wonderful accommodations and polite staff members who made our stay wonderful! The location is perfect, right across the street from one of the major subway stations. So getting around was a breeze! The hotel was extremely clean and had wonderful amenities that you rarely get even...

One of the Shinagawa Prince hotel complex, this one affiliated to Marriott Autograph Collection. Very comfortable rooms, and large for Tokyo. Easy access to most places with Shinagawa stations just across the road. Good breakfast. Or tried the Steak restaurant, and the Italian plays it a bit safe. Very friendly staff who are very helpful e.g. With restaurant bookings. Plenty...

The hotel is fabulous with both hardware and software. Every body even a trainee is willing to help and sincere. They are knowledgable and responsive. Originally I dun expect much english level from them but they are totally OK and even fluent in speaking english. Was upgraded to the tower side with breathtaking tokyo tower view. You dont need to...

The check in process was very difficult. For a Marriott, I did not find the English fluency of the staff to be sufficient. I and one other of my colleagues had difficulty because the staff could not get our credit cards to run to take our deposit. We are still not sure why as we used are credit cards throughout...

The hotel is walking distance from the Shinagawa station and is part of a larger hotel complex as it adjoins two other Prince hotels, all of which are interconnected. The check in process was smooth and I was in my room in no time. The room was surprisingly spacious with a separate WC from the bathroom. There were nice local...

After some delays of my flight into HND causing a very very late arrival, the check-in staff were perfectly attentive and receptive... even at 2 AM! They knew that all I wanted to do was get my room key and hop in to bed. Check in was kept to a maximum of 2 minutes. Good work. The rest of the...

I stayed here for four nights at the end of February 2017. The hotel is wonderful. The rooms are spacious filled with every amenity you could imagine! When you travel for business, it's nice to have a room that you are comfortable in to work from, and Prince Sakura provided that. The breakfast was great with both western and eastern...

The hotel is located close to the Shinagawa station so walking from the Subway or train is done in minutes. Check in was nice and efficient. You can see that the hotel is an older style hotel but that is exactly what I expect from the Autograph Collection. I expect a hotel with charm and authentic style of the country...

We had amazing service at check-in. We were allowed to check in 3 hours early, which was not expected by any means! The grounds outside are beautiful. The room was very spacious and the jetted tub was an additional bonus. This is a hotel where I had a hard time wanting to leave the room as it was that comfortable....

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
