Unfortunately, I now understand why the Sheraton Miyako hotel cost the lowest amount of points/night to book. It's a very average hotel. Everything looks nice in the lobby, and everything is very similar to other Sheraton's around the world.... but it's missing a huge requirement!! No AC in the rooms. After a hot shower, the entire room is steamy and...

Nice building in a residential, safe and peaceful neighborhood. Though there are not many shops in the surroundings, and just vending machines, we liked it. It is 5 minutes away from a small subway station (Shirokanedai) and 15 minutes away from Meguro (there is a shuttle service form hotel). Nice lobby, beautiful garden and great spa. Very nice bedroom (8th...

This hotel has great service from helping me to book restaurants, being responsive to emails and Graf check in service. I also love the hotel lounge. What's amazing is the beautiful view of the hotel gardens. The train station is a 10 minute walk from the hotel so it's pretty convenient.

Service at the hotel is very helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and spacious. The area around is very peaceful, clean, safe and quite. There is nice garden and shrine next to the hotel if you are looking for a place to rest. However there are not many places to eat around. The only problem I had was that it's...

Our first stop was downstairs in the M Bar. Great scotch and Cigars. The room was average, mattress was comfortable, but the pillows were too hard or too soft. They have a shuttle that takes you to two different subway stations. Absolutely nothing negative. If you have visible tattoos you must keep them covered in the health club.

If you're looking for a chain hotel type experience, this may be for you. The room is clean and furnished with clear Japanese influences. There's one smaller subway station (Shirokanedai) ~5 minutes away, as well as the larger Meguro Station ~15 minutes away. The hotel operates a shuttle to Meguro station. The area is clean and safe (as most of...

We stayed here as part of a group on a tour. The hotel is well suited for large parties and is clearly a luxury hotel. The hotel is large and has very pretty Japanese style gardens which are worth a stroll through. Breakfast is served in two different rooms depending on whether you want Eastern or Western buffet food. There...

We were on the club level and had access to their Club lounge . Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
