This hotel is like a boutique property (only 11 floors and with a quiet and discrete lobby) and it is definitely a value for money option for anyone visitingTokyo. I have lived in Tokyo before and have travelled there over a number of years and I don't thnk you could do better in this category, particularly if you want to...

Other reviews have said this hotel is a bit hard to find and it is true - when you come out of Akasaka station at Exit 2 there is a busy street and no sign of a hotel. Don't panic - turn sharp left into a pedestrian walkway and you will find the hotel (there is also a sign on...

Hotel Avanshell is so convenient - a couple of minutes walk from the Chiyoda Line Akasaka station. It has its own excellent Italian restaurant, Osteria Pippos and is close to a host of other restaurants and bars. It offers the personalised service of a smaller hotel. great for a business or toruist visit to Tokyo.

Undoubtedly one of the few hotels with rooms that size. Complete with a large balcony. With free internet access, nearby 24 hours supermarket and proximity to a metro station, what more can you ask for? Oh, there's even a small kitchenette.

We had a great stay in this hotel, the staff were really friendly and helpful, english speaking too! The rooms are a great size and super clean. The location is fantastic with only a 2 min walk to the nearest metro. Would definitely stay here again!

This hotel has lots of positives - very good location near the metro, although a little tricky to find the first time as it is down a laneway near the metro exit. The rooms are very large and comfortable, with a couch and plenty of space. The only weird thing is that the hallways are actually outside.

I had a great stay here and got a good rate through agoda.com. Location is excellent. There is a subway station entrance not even a full block away. There is also a shopping center near by with conbini and restaurants. The twin room I was in had a sink, refrigerator, & microwave and a balcony. I ate a few meals...

I have used this hotel a few times now and the rooms are excellent, they provide more than enough room for the stay and the hotel provides all the options that I require (free and fast internet, etc). The location is also great as it is just metres away from am impressive stretch of restaurants and is 2 minutes walk...

I travel to Japan a lot and now stay here whenever I can. The rooms are more like small apartments and for the size and location are great value. And very central too. It's only 10 minutes walk from Roppongi (Mid Town, Suntory Art Museum etc) and is a minute from the Chiyoda subway. Lots of good restaurants, bars and...
