Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

Booked this hotel for 1 night in March 2024 through Qantas Hotels indicating all along that for our Superior KB room (24 sq m) we must have a walk-in shower as my wife has a knee problem and can not get into a combined bath/shower. All along QH confirmed that our requirement will be met by the hotel. If you want service and courtesy do NOT book this hotel. For 2 hours since we arrived at the hotel at 8.30 pm, we have been arguing with their hopeless management about our requirement. Eventually at 10.30 pm, we were allocated a tiny room with a combined bath/shower. Breakfast which was paid for to QH did NOT offer any sliced bread, NO toaster and NO egg station. What an inefficient establishment; they would not consider making it good for us and neither QH would even consider our partial compensation. DO NOT BOOK AND STAY AT THIS HOTEL, YOU ARE WASTING YOUR MONEY.

I had a delightful stay at Hotel Villa Grand Fontaine in Tokyo. The hotel's location was excellent, situated close to the bustling areas of Shinjuku and Shibuya, making it convenient to explore the city's attractions. Only a 50 min ride to Tokyo Disneyland if in Tokyo only for a short time About a 5-10 walk from the checkin counters so great if transiting through Room were a good size for a hotel airport well appointed with nice big bathrooms and showers The room was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of flying. The breakfast wasn’t great and expensive Overall, Hotel Villa Grand Fontaine provided a pleasant and convenient base for my Tokyo stopover . I would definitely recommend it for travelers looking for a comfortable and easily accessible transit hotel when in Haneda It was expensive if booking late

Stayed here for one night in a Superior Queen Room and I will definitely recommend this hotel, especially to travelers who are landing late at Haneda Terminal 3. (The entrance is about 5 minutes walk from Terminal 3) It’s a little pricey but the rooms and facilities are clean, spacious, and posh. The Izumi Tenku no Yu onsen, entrance to which is often included in packages, is one of the big highlights too. It’s just so therapeutic lying underneath the stars in an outdoor poor while also enjoying the lights of Haneda Airport. Villa Fontaine is moreover part of a sizable shopping complex. If you’re staying here right before leaving Japan, you can conveniently buy many of your souvenirs at this complex.

So - I presume nobody is going to stay in an airport hotel for a holiday, so I think you have to review in that context. This hotel more than does the job: rooms were fine, beds a bit hard but shower good. Air con temp bore no relation to the actual temperature but we worked it out OK. Staff a bit functional and busy but helpful enough. Breakfast buffet lovely choice. Bit expensive but location could not be more convenient, moreor less in terminal 3. Roof top onsen fabulous but busy. Would return.

Horrible. Let me say it again. Horrible and horribly HOT. The lobby, the lounge, the hallways and the rooms hot. That's just the first part. If you enjoy paying high price for a two-star hotel breakfast, this is the place for you. Enjoy cold breaded mackerel fish with a bucket of onions and pickled mushrooms every morning with a omelete for $27 dollars. The "Spa" they advertise is as noisy as the local metro and with just as many children at 11pm. Loud and packed. We made a mistake staying here. Would never do it again. Also you're 30-40 minutes from everything. One word can sum this place up......avoid.

I have stayed at this property a few times now, and I really enjoy it. If you are arriving at Haneda late at night, and don't want to worry about getting on a train or several trains while jet lagged, this is the perfect spot to stay for a night. I usually fly in, spend the night, then take a domestic flight to another city in Japan. The rooms here are very clean, affordable, well equipped and safe. The connected mall has a large variety of food options, and other stores that can help with other needs, such as gifts or medication, etc. It's important to know that this is the Grand branch of the hotel which is more budget friendly. There is a Premiere branch that is more luxurious with a higher price point. If you are just staying one night, then Grand is really all you need.

Lovely large room, and the nice touch of free drinks in the mini bar, the spa on sight is free for those staying and was really nice if not a little confusing as to what you need to put where and leave where, but the staff try and guide you through it. Very convenient to get up in the morning walk 5 minutes and be in the terminal.

My second stay at this hotel in the last 5 months. Very convenient… located in a complex connected to Haneda terminal 1 with many shops & restaurants. Easy walk back to airport terminal to take the metro to downtown Tokyo for sightseeing. Hotel is new with spacious lobby, hallways & rooms to accommodate luggage. Clean room & bathroom (typical Japanese size) with modern fixtures, good counter space & tub/shower combo, bath amenities provided. Love the breakfast buffet with many Asian & western food choices. Concierge held our luggage pre check in & post check out. Comfortable & stress free stay, my “go to” hotel in Tokyo… will definitely return!

Shuttle back from Tokyo Disneyland to hotel Villa Fontaine Haneda Airport was terrible. First the park opened an hour later than the scheduled drop off time and closed an hour earlier than the scheduled pick up time which meant my party and I were in the freezing cold for at least 2 hours before we could board the bus.Second we knocked on the bus door (at least twice) but no response. Apparently the bus driver was asleep in the back of the bus and didn't let us in. By the time the driver opened the door it was well past the expected pick up time. There needs to be better coordination between park operating hours and the shuttle company and individual employees and their obligations to guest while on duty
