Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

This is a typical airport hotel and the room was quiet and dark. It would have been good for sleeping except the bed was extremely hard and the pillows were so uncomfortable (packed with hard beads down one end), that we had a terrible night’s sleep before an early flight. The hotel is in Terminal 3, but it is easy to get to Terminal 2 on the free airport shuttle bus. There is quite a nice restaurant at the hotel. However, if you value a good night’s sleep, look for another option.

Very good and super convenient hotel. Attached to Terminal 3 at Haneda, it is about a 5 minute walk from exiting customs. Rooms are good sized (there were two of us) and have all the necessities. Also has a good restaurant, with some western and Japanese food.

First off it is SO CONVENIENT. Right off the departures floor in Haneda. Check in is fast and efficient. The room I had was tiny and basic but I guess you aren't expecting too much. The bed isn't built for comfort but it is just fine. Plenty of things to eat in the airport and you can leave your room and be checked in 5 minutes later for your flight.

Nothing beats the location of Royal Park Haneda as it is very close to the left of the check-in counters of Haneda’s terminal 3. It also helps that it is very walkable to the new Haneda Airport Garden which has some restaurants and shops. Rooms are a little small but comfortable. Those with a lot of luggage may find space a little lacking. The bathroom area was generous in size. Check in and out was easy.

The plus point, and it’s a big plus, is that the hotel is inside terminal 3 right next to the checkin desks. To find the hotel go to departures and look for checkin area N, the hotel is right next to it. In the lobby of the hotel are automated machines to checkin. Fortunately there was a member of staff to help us through the process which involved inputting various details, scanning passports, payment either by card or cash and issuing room keys. I guess we could have found our way through it unaided …eventually Once that was done the rest was easy. Our 6th floor room had everything we needed and whilst not exactly palatial had more than enough space. It was clean, comfortable and was the only hotel of our stay that offered BBC and CNN news channels on the TV. Wifi worked well. Our flight home was scheduled for 0945 so we had not booked breakfast, thinking we would get a snack in the terminal. In the event the flight was delayed until 1215 so we were able to enjoy the hotels excellent breakfast buffet before strolling a few yards from the hotel to the airline checkin desk. For a morning flight this seems the obvious place to stay. We had traveled up from Hiroshima arriving around 2100, but one could equally well spend the day and evening in Tokyo before heading for the hotel. Highly recommended

Room Tip: Our room overlooked a car park, better would have been a runway view.

Superb hotel for location and helpful staff :) I fully appreciate that some like to be in the centre of the city but when it comes to arrival and departure I love the fact I'm 10 mins from my hotel or check-in gate. The monorail is very efficient so getting into the city isn't an issue Breakfast is lovely with a great selection, just make sure you time end of evening drinks right if required as the bar does close early compared to some places. Never an issue in reality though... Room overlooking the runways is always fun seeing the planes coming and going, no issue with noise at all :) The staff were friendly and super helpful allowing me to leave luggage with them while I travelled around Japan and taking delivery of various parcels from my travels. Upon arriving back for my last few days in Tokyo, everything had been taken up to my room, brilliant! Won't hesitate to stay here again on my next travels to Japan!

Can’t complain at all about this hotel. The location is perfect and actually inside terminal 3. On arrival the staff were very quick to help with the check in machines. We’d had our luggage forwarded from Kyoto and it had already been put in our room. Good breakfast buffet too. I particularly recommend it to anyone with an early morning flight.

Location is excellent being that it is in terminal three. Booked a premium room for two nights, but the room is very small even for Tokyo standards. However, the worst part of the stay was actually the front desk. I needed some ice for an ice pack since I had hurt my shoulder and the front desk refused to provide me with ice. They asked me to go to the store in the terminal and get a bag of ice. Instead I went to the restaurant and requested the ice. The staff in the restaurant immediately packed some in a plastic bag and made me an ice pack!

My husband has just checked into this hotel after a long flight from London. Tired and hungry he has just tried to get a meal in the restaurant. He's coeliac [can't eat anything containing gluten] and presented the waiter with a written explanation of his condition, in Japanese. They have refused to feed him because "the chef doesn't want to take responsibility". If you're coeliac you may wish to avoid this hotel. He asked for steak and rice and they even refused to serve this. A terrible start to his Japan trip.

We checked in via a machine in the lobby with help from a receptionist and given room 839. Tiny room but well designed with everything needed, just smaller than usual. Small double bed, fridge, tv, kettle, mugs, sofa etc. Bathroom tiny with Toto, shower over bath, basin, big bottle toiletries. Breakfast included with coupons in Tradewinds restaurant: mostly Japanese or Chinese, but also bacon, scrambled egg and potato tots as well as toast.
