I liked the modern decor that they have put into this boutique hotel. We got upgraded to a bigger room, which was awesome, very good size for Tokyo. We were able to open up 2 full sized suitcases on the floor and still have room to walk around. The free breakfast is basically pastry and coffee/tea/orange juice, but gets the...

Stayed here with my boyfriend for two nights in early Jan. Great location and very easy to get to from the shibuya station (about a 6 min walk). Lots of little places to eat and drink within walkable distance from the hotel. Would definitely stay here again ✌️

We booked this very quickly and easily online (booking.com). It's listed as only a 3 star, so we didn't expect much. I was pleasantly surprised - it's clean and cute. The only cons were that the bed was a little hard and could have been a little bigger, but that's the American in me speaking. It will do for many...

Pros: Great location. In the middle of Shibuya. Close to all the shopping, bars, restaurants, the famous crossing. Nice staff, very helpful. Rooms are spacious. You can actually walk around. 😄 Cons: Window in the room doesn't open although maybe you don't want that, as you're in the middle of the party, especially in the weekend. No breakfast other than...

I was looking for a hotel room in Shibuya not too expensive and I came across Hotel En. The short walk from Shibuya station is fine and actually adds to the experience since you have to cross the crazy square and might swing by the Hachiko statue to already check sth. off your list. The Starbucks as well as the...

New boutique hotel in a great location. The room itself is nothing to fancy, but very modern. Issue we had was, that the blinds didn't darken the room enough. That was a bit of a bummer. Staff was great, helped us a lot. Stayed at the Granbell in Shibuya many times, this is a good substitute if the Granbell is...

We only stayed here one night before we left Tokyo but it was great. The location is right in the heart of Shibuya but down a quiet road, easy to find! There is a ton to do right outside the doors. Our room had a brick wall and lots of character, I think all the floors have a different theme....

Moriya-san was very helpful & for that reason I will be staying here next time. It's all about customer service. The room was extra clean and modern which I enjoyed. It's like a 5-10 minute walk from Shibuya station. There's a Family Mart near by so that came in handy for breakfast haha. I know if I come to Shibuya...

Hotel has been refurbished recently and is centrally located in Shibuya near a lot of restaurants, shop and transport options. We were allocated a room on level 6. Pros: Good value hotel that is clean with a spacious modern shower with good water pressure, nice toilet and double sized bed. Bathroom ammenities all provided including room slippers. Cons: TV is...

Smallish room, but not by Tokyo standards. It should be noted that my room had no closet. I got in at 3AM and it took me a while to realize that. It really didn't bother me at all, but I looked like a fool looking for it everywhere. Very good service(as is all of Tokyo). You can walk to a...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
