New boutique hotel in a great location. The room itself is nothing to fancy, but very modern. Issue we had was, that the blinds didn't darken the room enough. That was a bit of a bummer. Staff was great, helped us a lot. Stayed at the Granbell in Shibuya many times, this is a good substitute if the Granbell is... More

We only stayed here one night before we left Tokyo but it was great. The location is right in the heart of Shibuya but down a quiet road, easy to find! There is a ton to do right outside the doors. Our room had a brick wall and lots of character, I think all the floors have a different theme.... More

Moriya-san was very helpful & for that reason I will be staying here next time. It's all about customer service. The room was extra clean and modern which I enjoyed. It's like a 5-10 minute walk from Shibuya station. There's a Family Mart near by so that came in handy for breakfast haha. I know if I come to Shibuya... More

Hotel has been refurbished recently and is centrally located in Shibuya near a lot of restaurants, shop and transport options. We were allocated a room on level 6. Pros: Good value hotel that is clean with a spacious modern shower with good water pressure, nice toilet and double sized bed. Bathroom ammenities all provided including room slippers. Cons: TV is... Smallish room, but not by Tokyo standards. It should be noted that my room had no closet. I got in at 3AM and it took me a while to realize that. It really didn't bother me at all, but I looked like a fool looking for it everywhere. Very good service(as is all of Tokyo). You can walk to a... More

Shibuya Hotel En (formerly known as Shibuya City Hotel) sits in a prime location in Shbuya: it just a 10 minute or so walk from the Shibuya Train Station and is right smack in the center of all that food and shopping. The hotel was recently renovated in February 2016, and offers comfortable rooms with free WiFi. There are a... More

We stayed here during our honeymoon in the oriental room. The hotel is in a great location and we really liked the style of it. Each floor, at least that we saw, has a different style to it with a mix of a more classy look to very vibrant artwork. In hindsight we wished we'd went on a quick exploration!... More

Modern, conveniently located hotel just minutes away form the heart of Shibuya. We arrived in Tokyo via an early flight and got to Shibuya at about 6 pm. The hotel was easy to find from the JR station, and we were able to leave our luggage and go for breakfast and lets of coffee. By the time we got back,... More

This small, modern and tasty hotel is extremely well located in the heart of Shibuya, some seven minutes walk from the Shibuya JR station. Our room was small (normal in Japan) but fitted with modern equipment and quality furniture. There is also an attractive bar giving a good opportunity to start an evening stroll in area. The staff is very... More

The newly renovated Shibuya Hotel En is tucked in a convenient and quiet corner in the hustle and bustle of the Shibuya district. It is approximately 5mins away from the Shibuya metro where you can take your pick at the array of train lines to bring you to almost any part of Tokyo city. The hotel signage is rather inconspicuous,... More

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
