This is a great Hotel to stay if you are wanting to be near Shibuya, the train station is close by, there are a multitude of cool restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. The rooms were a very good size with well equipped bathrooms. I didn't like the idea of having to pay to use the swimming pool, so...

This hotel is located in walking distance to the Shibuya crossing and the Shibuya railway station. This station has great access to the main train lines and the metro system. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, including teppanyaki, sushi train and cat cafes. Shopping is also all around the station and crossing area. The rooms are well appointed...

Booked this hotel for 1 night stay in Tokyo between flights. I normally wouldn't go for something so expensive but we wanted to be in Shibuya. We loved that the bus from the airport drops you off/pucks you up right at the hotel, it was so easy. Check-in was very fast and hotel staff friendly and fluent in English. We...

Decent rooms, comfortable beds, spacious bathroom. Breakfast was good. The hotel had a fair gym but there is an extra charge for using it. The hotel is located in the famous Shibuya district. There is a nice skybar as well as a lobby bar. However, difficult to het coffee after 10 pm.

Great Japanese hotel with amazing service and beautiful rooms. Try to get one with the bath overlooking the city. Very spacious for a Japanese hotel. A little convoluted to get to and from the Shibuya Station which is already confusing - and as usual in Japan next to no signs in English. Lots of restaurant choices and a large 7-11.

We had a wonderful stay at the Cerulean Tower in Toyko. It is walking distance to many great places to eat (we loved the Coco curry house right down the street) as well as a quick walk to the subway. The hotel is stunning and the staff was incredible. I was very impressed with the staff’s fluent English and their...

Hotel is nice throughout, rooms are pretty amply sized for Tokyo, rooms are well furnished and comfortable, and of course the staff is fantastic. The views from room, however, are amazing. I spent my share of time with a bottle of wine just gazing out at the endless sea of lights.

For a first time visit of Tokyo the Cerulean is a great hotel. The staff is efficient but do not expect very much personalized service. But the rooms (view!) are great. I had a deluxe room, so apart from the window in the main room, the bathroom has a window as well. I recommend to book a room directly through...

Great hotel located in Shibuya, a few minutes walk from all the action of Tokyo's loved shopping district. Rooms are large (a rarity in Tokyo) and the views are amazing..... stretching across the shopping district to seeing Tokyo Tower in the distance. There is also a pool and a gym on site. Reception and foyer is grand and staff are...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
