We were warned in the reviews about the size of the room. We got a deluxe room, with a larger bed. The bed was very comfortable. The room was extremely clean. We liked the breakfast. We used the dry-cleaning at the hotel, and were completely satisfied. The staff was very nice. The pizza place adjoined to the hotel was nice....

Recently stayed here in a premium double room the room was quite large and spacious very clean and comfy bed. Breakfast was included very basic but still breakfast and coffee. The hotel is within walking distance to Shibuya crossing, shops restraunts and stations. Would stay here again and recommend to family and friends.

Stayed for 3 nights in one of the premium rooms on the 13th floor. I really loved this place. Staff were great, very helpful, friendly and professional, organised reservations and taxis etc. We felt very safe and comfortable. Room was spacious for Tokyo with a balcony and high ceiling. The little pizza and wine restaurant on site was good too....

From the Shinjuku train station you have a little adventure to find the hotel, but it's not all that hard if you google map street view it in advance. The entrance is a little difficult to identify, but is doable. My room was tiny for sure, they are very strategic about the layout, including a raised bathroom area that is...

The hotel is very close to Shibuya station, which makes it really easy to travel with subway, Narita Express, and JR. It's also near many shopping venues. So when it gets dark in Tokyo and other tourist attractions are closed, you will have a number of great restaurants and shopping malls to visit. The room size is the smallest I...

Only a 2 minute walk from Shibuya station, and 5 min. walk from . Stayed here for 5 nights in the end of October. We had a very small room like similar hotels in Japan, but it was clean and actually we had what we needed. Breakfast is poor. Staff are nice and speak English. I would recommend this hotel.

First, the location is great. Quiet, but 5 min. To shibuya crossing and station. Good for starting adventures in tokio. But, the hotel probsbly had its better, design and style days. Today it is pretty run down. The small rooms (okey for japan) are just okey regarding cleanliness, the rest of the hotel is in miserable condition. Also the breakfast...

Good location, only a 2 minute walk from Shibuya station (go over the overpass and up one street). Breakfast at either of the hotel options are fairly mediocre, but rooms are quiet and clean No issues with service or price.

Stayed here 3 nights in end of October. Our room on the very top floor as expected is small ... even had trouble finding a space for our large suit case. The layout is kind of weird with a sofa and table separating 2 huge comfortable beds . Its certainly tight , but we managed to moved around . One...

We stayed at the Granbell for 1 night. I booked a standard style room but did mention in the notes section upon booking that it was our honeymoon. They picked up on this at the front desk during check in and straight away upgraded us to a premier suite! They also left a bottle of wine in the room with...

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
