I stay there for 5 night with my husband. The staff can speak mandarin and English very well. They are very helpful and friendly. The room are clean but small (as expected). The location is near by kabukicho. So at night a lot of food can search at there.

It's not near to JR station but near to Seibu Shinsuku. The only demerit is its air conditioning system. It has warm breeze making the room too hot in winter. Its breakfast is nice and tasty. It provides tea for residents. Value for money.

This hotel was quite comfortable, very clean, and one of the few affordable hotels within the shinjuku area. It is however, very deep within kabukicho, so if you take a wrong turn at night, yep, you'll be smack in the middle of their infamous red light district. It is still safe to walk through, but you'll get a very different...

This is a fairly fuss free hotel. The rooms are tiny (well, it's Tokyo, did you expect a mansion for this price?), but clean and the bed is REALLY comfortable. Very functional place and right in the middle of Shinjuku's madness. 3-4 train stations are close by and you can access pretty much any part from Tokyo from one of...

Chose this hotel as we found it to be one of the few reasonably priced hotels within Shinjuku and being available from New year's eve. During check in, we realised we made a huge mistake. The location is very near the red light district and right opposite the lobby, there is a club or bar is called 'gang bang'. Room...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
