Stayed here upon arrival in Japan (for 4 nights) and also on our last night. The rooms are large and the beds are soft compared to Japanese standards. You have your own kitchen, a sitting area with a couch and table and a comfortable bed. The rooms look fresh and new and have everything you need for a good stay...

These rooms are very spacious in size. The staff are very helpful and speak good English. It,s a very easy walk to the tube station down a nice, fairly quiet road; then you can get anywhere. There are lots of restaurants nearby, and it.s safe and exciting to wander round the area in the evening.

To get to the hotel ... Catch the subway to M10 ..Shinjuku Gyommae on the red maranuchi line. Its a short walk to the hotel and there are loads of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops close by. It is in a quiet part of Shinjuku which is a blessing having jostled with the mayhem of downtown Tokyo. The rooms are...

Generous sized rooms with kitchenette, so handy for breakfast. Hotel is within walking distance of many restaurants and the buzzing nightlife of Shinjuku. We have stayed here 4 times in the last 3 years, with no complaints. The rooms are always clean, beds comfortable, staff very helpful and another bonus is the launderette. Also free wi-fi in each room. A...

We are a family of 5 with 3 children aged 11, 6 & 4. We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We originally booked a studio with a sofa bed since 5 of us can comfortably fit in 2 beds. However when we checked in, we were told that according to the law, all 5 of us are not...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

“I don't know with anybody but I loved our room with the street view. Maybe Citadines has a good sound-proofing system, I couldn't hear any horking or noises from the street. But we were on the 11th floor so maybe that was also a factor. ”
