The hotel has the Tokyo Metro Seibu line *right behind* the main entrance,*three* of the JR Shinjuku Station exits within a 500-metre radius (East, West, South), and the Shinjuku Bus Terminal to get your airport. There's no way you can be stuck unless you're hopelessly direction-challenged. If that's not enough you have Lumine, Alta, and PePe department stores within the...

One of the best located hotel in Tokyo. Shinjuku is the place fits most travelers. Full of restaurants and other amusement places, conveniently connected with airport routes and subways. The hotel looks new and clean, with all amenities you need.

Just finished my 3 nights staying at this hotel with satisfaction. Location is good for transportation and shopping it is just 5 - 7 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station. Lots of restaurants and even with MacDonald nearby. 7-11 or Lawson are just within 2 - 3 minutes walk. The room size is good in Japanese standard. At least you can...

I spend my last night in Tokyo at Prince Hotel and absolutely love it. Amazing location (close to restaurants, subway station), great value and amazing view from my room. From check in to check out I only met great people and very helpful employees. The room was large, for Japan standard, with nice and comfortable bed and great size bathroom....

We had a 15 hour layover in Japan and decided to stay in Tokyo for one night. We found a great last minute discount on Japanican.com for this hotel. Great location with a short walk from Shinjuku Station. We didn't find this out until later that the hotel is connected to the Shinjuku Station from the 2nd floor of the...

I do not recommend this hotel for Westerners, especially if they are unfamiliar with Japan. There are many other less expensive choices in Tokyo where you can do much better. The Shinjuku Prince hotel has changed its customer base over the years and now is catering to the budget-conscious travelers, mostly from China, who are willing to put up with...

Stayed here for 5 nights in late January as a family of 3 in the Deluxe Room. The size of the room is just good enough for 3 persons with 1 of us sleeping on a bed converted from a sofa which works just as good as a normal bed. With our baggage around the room, we have just enough...

This hotel subscribes to the Japanese protocol of deactivating air conditioning during winter. The rooms do not have windows that open, and the corridors are heated to around 30 degrees. What this means is that when I checked in, with the sun steaming through the window, it was 32 degrees in my room as indicated by the digital thermostat in...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
