This hotel is one of the best that I have ever stayed in Japan. Only a 7minute walk from the busy Shinjuku station and easy to find, this hotel offered excellent ammenties including internet access, laundry facilities and my room even came with a massage chair! Perfect after a long day of shopping! The staff could speak english and they...

It is a nice looking older hotel. It is quite the walk from Shinjuku station. If you are dragging luggage, you should be in good shape. Hotel staff was pleasant. Hotel room - Blood spatter on the ceiling. The beds were very hard. Pillows had some hard plastic tubes in them. The shower was some kind of weird prefab box...

For the money you're paying you can't really complain. Not that there's anything to complain about. It's a 3 star hotel, after all. The staff is nice and will do their best to help. Your best bet is to go in person when you have a problem instead of calling them since their English isn't perfect...which is not the end...

The rooms are terrible small and they don't really clean the room. Their standard double room is not really standard. It depends who you are and where you come from. They have different size of "standard double rom", each staff hiding a paper with a list of price and room size. I saw their list have double room A ,...

Check in and check out are speedy. The rooms are compact yet comfortable. The foreign tourist information desk staff are incredibly helpful. The hotel is away from the hustle and bustle of Shinjuku station yet a short walk to get amongst it which was nice. Lifts are very full at checkout time so you may need to wait.

We stayed here for 5 nights at an amazing price. Pros: - For the price we paid (which was around $60 USD per night?), this hotel was very good value. We really shouldn’t complain. - The room was VERY small (you won’t believe it until you see it), but it actually had everything we need. Hairdryer, A/C, desk for laptop,...

I was extremely satisfied with your hotel. The room was small but big enough for me (who am a big person!), very clean and well cared for. The location was excellent, and your hotel staff was very fine; they were an immense help to me on this, my first, but hopefully not my last!, trip to Japan. You helped make...

We selected the hotel based on the cost, it's proximity to the Shinjuku Transit Station (a 12 minute walk underground), and it's ability to accommodate 3 people. The room was of the size we expected (small) but there were shortcomings in the facility and service. There were no washcloths for the restroom. The room climate controls only allowed for adjustment...

The location is very good and the price is very reasonable. The room was small but if you think about the price and location, it can't be helped. They had a free high-speed internet connection in the room. Also, Airport Limousine bus stops in front of this hotel so it's very convenient. The hotel is directly connected to Shinjuku Station,...

It's a great choice for the budget conscious. I got a good deal on the internet, 30% off for booking 5 nights in a row. - The twin room was extremely small though. We didn't even have sufficient space to open up both our suitcases. In the end, we had to move the two chairs in the room against the...

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
