Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.

For a hotel in the centre of the entertainment district, the APA is great. Rooms are the standard business type, on the small side but perfectly adequate, clean and smelling fresh. In December/January the nice warm room is welcome. The best part is the sento on the top floor, a

Location is great. 9 min walk from Shinjuku station east exit and surrounded by convenience stores and food. But that's about it. Room is almost clean. The other reviews about the grime at the sink and dust in the drawers are true. I've been to Tokyo many times before but never

Yes it is. But don’t worry as the red district in Japan is so different from other countries. The place is clean, safe and has a lot of stores to shop from. Drugstores are everywhere, where Japanese cosmetics and skin care can be found, restaurants, don quixote, and even a fruit stand is around the corner. It’s a good location.

The hotel won’t offer this but you can use the Ta-q-bin at reception, this will forward your luggage for you for a fee and will arrive very quickly. You’ll see vans all over japan with the small black cat logo, it’s amazing
