Its a nice guesthouse in calm area at Ikebukuro. We stay at Annex room for 4 people with bathroom. The room is really clean, has refrigerator, microwave, small dinning table, even laptop also provided in. Toilet was clean and modern. The host (dont know is he the owner or who) was very friendly, kind. Will back here someday :)

I had a mixed impression of this hotel during checking in as the landlady of the hotel was matronly but nice. I had a view of the pantry at the main building where free drinks could be had. Upon guiding us to our room at the back of the main building and going up to the 2nd floor steps, a... More

I stayed here for 5 nights and being offered room with private bath and room with shared bath. Both offered rooms were great as it was really clean and feel fresh! I'm quite choosy on the cleanliness especially toilet but out of my expectations it was great! They provide basic breakfast like toast, the shared pantry is clean and tidy.... More

having been to tokyo a few times, house ikebukuro is still one of my favourite accommodations. it is excellent for the price point- it is near the subway, the communal toilet and shower were very clean, and the futon in the room was comfortable.

Cheap price with excellent service and completed facilities. The staff was so helpful! They provided so detailed travel information, replied our email within a short time, and helped us to take back our clothes from the outside when it was raining:) For long stay, there were coin operated dryer and free washing machines. Besides, room rate was cheap when you... More

This hostel is situated near Ikebukuro station, just few minutes away from Fukutoshin Line. I was comfortable with the hotel room in Japanese tatami style. There was two 100yen shops nearby. There are restaurants along the streets. I stayed at Japanese room with shared toilet and bathroom. They provide simple free breakfast which save my cost for breakfast. The only... More

Neighbourhood Profile
Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at the east entrance of the station, Sunshine City, is a landmark within Ikebukuro and features an aquarium, planetarium, theme park as well as an observation platform. The popular name for the western side of this area is "Otome Road" (Maiden Road) and there are many shops selling products related to anime with a female theme.
