Our family (2 adults, 2 children) stayed here for five nights and we were very impressed. The futons were very comfortable, the rooms were spotless and the staff for exceptionally kind and helpful. All of them were welcoming and very quick to offer assistance with directions and suggestions of local places to eat (which were delicious). We enjoyed the use...

There are many reasons this is one of the best options in Tokyo. The place makes you feel welcome to Tokyo. It's in a quiet neighborhood not too far from the train lines. The place is clean and well organized. The place feels like a home away from home. The best thing about Family Inn Saiko is the staff. They...

We stayed here for a number of nights in October 2015. We had a small room for the two of us. Futons were comfy, we had our own bathroom (lovely and clean). Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Although small, the room was just fine for our needs. We liked the location and the brief walk to the station was...

This is our second stay at Family Inn Saiko and the main reason why we returned there is great hospitality of the hosts. Everybody is so warm and friendly, especially Nicholas-san and Makoto-san who really went above and beyond to extend their help from recommending places to go, assist with direction, to arranging for our return transport to Narita at...

I spent 6 nights in this hotel in Nov 2015. The staff is very polite and friendly. Room is spacious and clean, a bit simple but good enough for me. Location is not 100% perfect, takes 5-10 mins walk from the nearest station. It is not a common destination for taxi drivers so it's best to take the railway. I...

Very hospitable hosts. Nothing was too much and they often went far beyond what we requested. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk from a number of train and metro stations, from where you can get anywhere. Tokyo fish markets were a 25 minute train / subway trip. Loads of NON 'tourist-trap' restaurants in the area - good value - excellent...

Very clean, friendly place. It is more like a Bed and Breakfast than a traditional Japanese Inn with cute decorations and friendly innkeeper. The place is located in a residential area and will give an idea what it will be like to live like a local. There is a local tour guide that gives 1 hour walking tour for 500...

We stayed here on out first four nights in Japan. The rooms were cosy but suited us just fine. Good sized shower. Accommodation is easy to get to from Tokyo train station. Close as in a short train ride but far enough away to be super quiet at night. The selling point of this hotel is the staff. Not just...

I don't think I have ever received such a lovely welcome to a hotel or inn. The family who run this place are so friendly and helpful. They could not have done more. They will have a chat with you over breakfast and make you feel at home. I wanted to buy specific gifts for my family. Nicholas and co...

“They will likely assign the rooms. But this is a good place to stay after trying other Ryokans out. Very clean (like most Ryokans) but the in-room bathroom adds to comfort and convenience. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, but is still close to major subway stations and has a lot of delicious food.”
