Stayed for 5 nights at this hotel with my wife and my son. Location is perfect, there is a Family Mart 24hr store downstairs, a minute walk to the JR stations and department stores like Seibu, and a 5-10min walk to get yourself plenty of food options after midnight. The room itself has nothing special, and it is relatively small....

This time I travel alone, and choose this hotel again because of having great location. The service is still very good, they do help me receive the parcels in advance, and although i choose single bed room, they do provide me a 2-twin bed room which I have extra place to put my stuff. again the location is very good,...

I had the most terrible experience I had ever encounter with a hotel. This is my last night in Japan and I asked the hotel reception for help in organising transport to the airport tomorrow. Not only did she not know the options, when I asked if she could make a reservation on a limousine bus to the airport that...

This hotel was in an excellent location - close to major shopping venues and subway station. Plenty of eating establishments nearby and an excellent restaurant inside - breakfast buffet included authentic Japanese cuisine with American variations - remember to request non smoking room AND floor - it took us 3 days to get smoky smell out if our room

My biggest surprise with this hotel was how quiet the rooms were, despite being next to Ikebukuro station. The sound-proofing is amazing. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet as there was a large variety of western and Japanese food available, so you can easily try a range of things. There is even corn-flakes...

The location is very accessable, with 2-3 minutes walk from JR/Metro station, and easy to find the hotel. Have 24 conveniecnes store at G/F and with 1~2 minutes walking distance to look for ramen restuarant which also open 24hours. Room is small, but clean enough! But valuable ...

Loacation is fine. It takes about 8minutes to walk to the station. We stay here because it's the Tokyo Marathon's contract hotel. The Tokyo Marathon deal is good. But the room is really tiny. If you don't mind the size of the room. It's clean and with fine loacation .

I liked this place, clean, neat and the standard rooms are not too cramped, considering they are in the middle of Tokyo. I have stayed in other Tokyo hotels and sometimes you feel like you paid for a capsule, not here, you actually do have two or three feet of floor space (a little more, but you get what I...

Neighbourhood Profile
Ikebukuro
Ikebukuro is an area of massive development. Several thousand tenants occupy two giant department stores and shopping malls, where all sorts of shopping and gourmet foods can be enjoyed. The 60-story building at the east entrance of the station, Sunshine City, is a landmark within Ikebukuro and features an aquarium, planetarium, theme park as well as an observation platform. The popular name for the western side of this area is "Otome Road" (Maiden Road) and there are many shops selling products related to anime with a female theme. It has rapidly become the worldwide headquarters for ‘otaku’ or geek culture.
