The rooms are nice and clean and well-kept. However, they are quite small, as expected. Additionally, they allow for luggage storage, which is great, and they are in a great location. They also have mini refrigerators and all the other typical amenities: pajamas, A/C, a water boiler, a humidifier (though perhaps a dehumidifier would have been better), hair dryer, shoe... More

It was very close to the JR Station (Shinagawa). A very good decision for us since we were already on our way back to the Airport carrying heavy luggage. I loved that they had provided clean sleepwear for the guests. Our room also had a nice big window with a nice view outside. Family Mart was in the same building... More

Stayed 6 nites , good location with Gontanda station just across street. A family mart downstairs n few malls n eatery nearby. Room is new and clean but small n double bed is like super single size. Kinda small for couple to share. Other than that all are great, friendly staff.

My family of 4 (2 adults/2 teens) stayed in 2 separate rooms for 7 days in early June. I can't emphasize this hotel's great location. It is just a hop, skip & jump away from Gotanda Station. It was so convenient to travel by train everywhere. The Yamanote Line stops here, so 1 train ride to Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Asakusa, 2... More

The hotel is across the street from the JR Gotanda station which is on the Yamanote loop line that circles the city. About 7 mins from Shinagawa, 9 mins from Shibuya so very convenient. There are quite a few restaurants around the station. It is new, clean and good value for Tokyo. The front desk staff were very friendly, efficient... More

Stayed their double room with my 5 yo daughter for 3 nights before the Christmas, which was good for almost everything for us. The size of both bedroom and shower room weren't small for us. The room was clean every day when we came back in the evening. The distance from the station was quite short, which was lucky for... More

Hotel location is great. Take Tokyo metro to reach Gotanda station and from there, few steps to the hotel. I heard the story before for small room in Japan but it is really super duper small. You step in the room and ends from where it starts

My dumb dumb travel agent had booked us into this hotel, saying yes it is very close to Haneda airport. Jokes on me sadly. Travelers: My family of 6. My husband and I with 4 kids. 17, 14, 12 and 9. The hotel was fine by me. Not 5 stars. 4 stars. Conveniently located next to Gotanda station. The WIFI... More

Stayed here for one night on my way back home. It's just outside Gotanda Station making it a perfect spot if you carry heavy luggage. The hotel is brand new and staff speaks some english. As of other reviews yamanote proximity may be a problem, but my room was on the opposite side and anyway trains don't run during the... More

Spent 5 nights in this hotel for our trip in Dec. The hotel is literally right next to the JR Gotanda and the Metro Gotanda station. So it is very convenient. We have three people so we had the Grand Deluxe Twin room. The size of the room is pretty reasonable compared to other Tokyo Hotel rooms. Will stay again... More

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
