The place is quiet and rooms are bit small, but generally clean. This is a three star hotel so don't expect much. But you'll like the place because it is just a 2-minute walk to the train station. There are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby.

It is the hotel which people can reserve cheaply from the trip sites. It is near from Gotanda Station, and the convenience to transportation is good. The minimum facilities were set and have not felt the inconvenience. I have not been worried about the noise of the train so much, too. I always use it in Tokyo at time with...

I stayed here because the company I was working for put me up in this location. It was close to the venue I was working at for 7 days. Lots of food choices within walking distance. This hotel is not for westerners, the rooms are small, the lobby and hotel smell like smoke. Also the lobby looks like a swap...

The hotel is located close to Gotanda Station - about 2-3 min walk. Gotanda Station is on the Yamanote Line, only 2 stations away from Shinagawa Station which is where Shinkansen, Narita Express, and other major lines stop at. Near the hotel there are also convenience store and several 24-hour fast food chains (McD, Yoshinoya). Room itself is very small...

Staying in Shinagawa / Gotanda

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinagawa / Gotanda
In Shinagawa, an office district shares space with luxury residential buildings and the scene is constantly changing with rapid development. Ikedayama park and Togoshi park are great places to see beautiful traditional Japanese gardens with ponds, as well as enjoy the changing seasons. Shinagawa was a post and a port town during the Edo era and the lavish old Shinto shrines and Buddhist temples at Shinagawa and Ebara are very popular. It's a great place to get in touch with the old Edo atmosphere on a pleasure boat cruising along the canal. The neighboring area around Gotanda station is a study in modern contrasts filled with unique restaurants and a lively nightlife.
