My friend and I arrived on a wet miserable Sunday afternoon. We were made so welcome, a pot of tea and homemade scones, whilst we settled in, and adjusted to our surroundings. Spotlessly clean accommodation, comfortable beds, and we enjoyed an excellent cooked breakfast before we travelled on to our golfing competition a short distance away.

My sister and I stayed last weekend and we had a very enjoyable stay. The room was excellent , super clean and all facilities available. Tea and coffee making facilities were available. We enjoyed an excellent breakfast provided by Rachel. There was a great variety and all fresh and tasty. We would definitely recommend this B and B to everyone. It is in a great location, parking excellent and close to amenities. We look forward to returning next year.

I stayed at Avondale for a night this week while on a fishing trip. It is a lovely house, easy to find and in a pleasant setting just outside Pettigo. I had on the road to Lough Derg. Comfortable room and bed. I slept soundly. Mary made me a great full Irish breakfast which is served in a nice bright lounge. I would recommend this fine B and B to anyone passing through or as a base for fishing, sightseeing etc. I visit the area a couple of times each summer to fish in Lough Erne. This is an ideal place to stay.

Our stay here was filled with good memories. The house was a working farm that was close to the border with Northern Ireland. You will not notice the surrounding animals as it is well kept and clean. Breakfast had a good variety and held in a aviary that was inviting. The owner offered many sightseeing options and in town dinners.

We stayed at this beautiful b&b and was not disappointed. We were greeted by Mary with tea and scones. The facilities were perfect and beautiful surroundings including the sheep in the front garden. Both Mary and her daughter Rachel gave us a fantastic breakfast every morning, we always had a catch up and Mary went out of her way to guide us on the best places to visit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return .

Mary is a delightful host, and the accommodations are clean and nice. Highly recommend this place if you are in the Pettigo area. Easy to find, easy to check in, nice hot shower, and a delicious Irish breakfast. Perfect!!

We stayed at Avondale in July 2018. This was our 6th visit to Avondale, so we must really like it! My grandmother was from Pettigo and I have lots of cousins in the area, so staying at Avondale is like going home. Mary is an excellent hostess and always makes us feel welcome. An Irish breakfast or any kind of omelet is offered to start the day in the lovely sunny breakfast area. Our rooms are always spotless and comfortable. We look forward to our next visit to Avondale!

Had a wonderful stay here.Beautiful residence. Mary couldn't do enough. My second visit. Everything about it is superb. The location is perfect for a quiet peaceful getaway while still within driving range of some fabulous tourist attractions. Rooms Breakfast and hospitality superb. Highly recommend.

Very friendly family especially run by Mary. She is helpful and caring all the time! Very nice surrounding, situated in the middle of their farm with baby lambs and calfs. The BnB is very neat and clean and the breakfast ist awsome! We stayed for two nights with our horses during a horse trip.
