A comfortable hotel in a very pleasant setting. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. The restaurants were very good consistently delivering above expectations. Despite the limitations of the curfew they did very well. A good well chosen wine list.
I just can't wait to go back. It is like being downtown a chic area of Paris at the Brasserie (with an excellent sommelier) but you are in the middle of nowhere. The service was impeccable, bathroom amenities fine, everything super clean.
Everything as described on website. For some reason toilet freezing and not heated like the rest of unit. Pleasant stay, staff great. It was late in their season so it was due to close for winter the following Monday.
After 4 days on the Camino we treated ourselves to this 3 star hotel on the outskirts of Aumont-Aubrac. We arrived late afternoon and were able to enjoy the heated pool and jacuzzi (there is also a hammam). I also booked a 30 minute massage at the spa. Heavenly to my heavy legs! Dinner was at the Gastronomic Bistrot attached to the hotel, and we enjoyed a shared plate of assiette de charcuterie du beau père (chef’s father in law is a master butcher) followed by a hot pot - Cochon a 3 cuissons (sausage, cheek and poitrine) in lentils and fennel and other vegetables served with the other local delicacy - the aligot (potato purée with tomme cheese and garlic). Bliss!
