Beautiful and secluded B&B in among the fields and rivers of the lower Loire. We had a huge room in the renovated barn: 2 soft double beds, big shower, exposed old beams, pretty views. Breakfast was rich and plentiful. Peacocks roaming in the ample garden, american cadillac from circa '50 sitting in the yard, swallows nesting above the stairs. The...

Spent a night here before flying home from Nantes. An excellent place to stay. Great feel for rustic France but close to everything. Highest levels of decor throughout and the friendliness of the owner is second to none. Excellent tasty breakfast with facilities for tea and coffee available all day. Would definitely stay here if ever in this area again.

We stayed here our first night in France. Such a lovely place. Quiet and comfortable. It was a country estate, but close enough to drive to nearby restaurants or to Angers. Breakfast was great. Farm fresh eggs. Homemade yogurt. Homemade jams. Yum. We would have liked to spend a week there.

The spacious room and bathroom provided all our needs for a two night stay. The breakfasts were included and delicious. 'Madame' was happy to do anything for us. Coffee and tea were available in the dining room at anytime. The apartment is in a restored barn beside the chateau. Being in a rural setting a couple of kilometres from 'town'...

We stayed overnight returning from the south of France and were delighted by this charming place. Close to the banks of the Loire and very quiet (geese and peacocks excepted!) the accommodation is of excellent quality and spotlessly clean. We were welcomed in and settled by the charming owner. There are many places where you can sit quietly and enjoy...

We stayed at this small chateau and oh my goodness what a treat. The proprietor was a wonder woman who greeted us with a smile and a wonderful room. Our room was new and quite nice. There were 2 in the building we stayed. We sent an e-mail asking the proprietor if she could recommend a place for dinner and...

I made a reservation for a 3 bed suite 11 months ago as a stop-over for our return journey from St Jean D'Angely with booking.com. 1 week before the reservation date I was contacted by the owner to inform me that the Chateau was to be taken over by a wedding party and she (the owner) had made alternative arrangements...

Very nice little Chateau just outside Angers. We had a large room with two doublebeds, very comfortable and spacious for us who are a tall family. Nice bathroom with a big shower. We had a lovely homemade 3-course dinner in the garden with peacocks strolling around. Great breakfast in the morning with youghurt and cheese, which seems a bit unusual in...
