We returned to Son Arnau for the second time after first visiting in 2018 and being blown away by what Alex and Susan had created but having to wait due to covid for our return We travelled with friends and having recommended we stay there was slightly nervous that it would live up to our memories It didn’t live up to our expectations it blew them out the water by being even more beautiful, relaxing and just the perfect holiday. The breakfasts made every morning by Alex or Susan are just sublime, the omelettes we all agreed were probably the best we have had anywhere in the world. All the ingredients are so fresh and just start the day perfectly. Room no 8 was just perfect having stayed in no 7 last time They are all slightly different but all perfect with all the little details being thought of. We really enjoyed the local town square at night with its friendly bar and some really nice restaurants, you really feel part of the village. Highly recommend you eat in the hotel on one of the nights they do their 3 course menu as the food is beautiful and fresh and the atmosphere is so relaxed Alex and Susan you are a beautiful couple doing an amazing job running the most fabulous boutique hotel, you deserve your success and cannot wait to come back as it feels like coming home, never been more relaxed on a holiday ❤️…

This was our 4th stay at Finca Son Arnau and it was just as wonderful as our previous stays. On earlier visits we've had the suite in the main building, this time we decided to change things up and try the new suite near the pool. Also wonderful but very different to the original suite. This suite is where they originally pressed olives and some of the old features are still visible such as the vaulted stone ceiling in the spacious bathroom and the beautiful stone walls in the bedroom. It still comes equipped with all mod cons including more coat hangers than it's possible to use (great touch Susan!) We decided this was our new favourite room. We received the same fabulous hospitality from Susan and Alex as ever and it's great to see their business thriving again after the travails of covid. The village has a couple of excellent new restaurants since we last visited as well as Miceli which is now so popular you have to book months in advance, and nearby Ca Na to Ne Ta in Caimari featured on a recent UK TV show and hosts to the Obamas when they visit the island. We've now stayed at Son Arnau in April, May, November and now September and we've been blessed by beautiful weather each time. We had a perfect time celebrating our anniversary at Finca Son Arnau back in June. The hosts were lovely and so accommodating making our stay extra special. The accommodation was absolutely stunning and the rooms were full of character. There were one or two pesky mosquitos - as to be expected throughout Mallorca. Maybe the option of netting over the beds would help but there really isn't anything I could find fault with in this property. The pool was small but very clean, peaceful and showcasing beautiful views. The property is in a very quiet area in a sleepy village which we absolutely loved. It was perfect for a nice, romantic, relaxing break away. We're already planning our next trip back! Thanks again Alex and Susan :)

My sister and I came for a long weekend to get a bit of sun and some R&R. Finca Son Arnau is a real treat for a long weekend or even longer. Alex and Susan are such gracious hosts from the minute you arrive until the minute you leave. All our restaurants were kindly booked in advance for us (based on their recommendations). All the restaurants were totally different but all great in their own way and also all within walking distance. Moli Nou was our favourite! The breakfasts were 10/10 with a wide range of options and on our last day we had to leave as breakfast was starting, Alex very kindly obliged and did a slightly earlier breakfast for us. Nothing is too much trouble for them and it really does feel like a home away from home. They don’t offer lunch but there is a supermarket a 2 minute walk from the hotel where you can get baguettes, ham and cheese etc and Alex was more than happy to provide a chopping board and plates so we could make some sandwiches to enjoy by the pool. The room was lovely and the hotel as a whole was just really peaceful and relaxing. A really lovely experience and we would absolutely come back!…

We are so lucky to have stayed at this beautiful bed and breakfast! If you are looking for serenity and to relax and recharge, this is it! My husband and I chose to stay at Son Arnau because of its central location: we could very easily drive up to the beautiful towns of Deia & Valldemosa (West Coast), Palma, or the North Coast (Alcudia, Pollensa). The house itself is immaculate and designed with style. Our bedroom with terrace was super airy and the bed extremely comfortable. Susan and Alex prepared a yummy breakfast each morning. Oh, and the pool was a dream!

Our eagerly anticipated 7th visit to Son Arnau, long delayed due to the pandemic and it's knock on effects, finally took place in June........and it certainly didn't seem like 4 years since our last stay. Everything was just as wonderful as our previous visits with Alex & Susan still the best hoteliers in Mallorca, if not the world. With only help from a couple of staff, the hotel was as immaculate as ever and the breakfasts and dinners superb. Our (usual) room 4 was fresh, clean and cool to escape to in the 34+ degree heat or there are shaded areas to relax....with a cool drink if required.....by the pool or the terrace area. The excellent siuation of Son Arnau makes it an ideal spot to travel all over the island by car or as we did this time, do an awful lot of reading and resting! We are now looking to make up our "lost" visits asap! …

Alex and Suzanne deserve all the wonderful praise and comments written over the years. Our experience of this boutique hotel tucked away in Selva was no less wonderful. From first contact to sad departure we enjoyed all that son Arnau had to offer and especially for its peace and tranquility, gorgeous bedrooms, superb breakfasts and lovely open light airy spaces as well as quiet corners. The pool area has glorious views to one side and olive groves on the other with the pleasant noise of sheep bells as they foraged below the olive trees. Alex and Suzanne have created a very special place where all of one’s senses are nourished ready for new adventures and the life ahead. We’ve just returned from a fabulous two weeks at Finca Son Arnau. Even before we arrived, Alex and Susan were incredibly helpful and included a list of restaurants and tips all of which were spot on. Alex and Susan are the perfect hosts and provide the best of food cooked from fresh by themselves. The accommodation is just beautiful , lovingly restored by them and always being improved. Rather than guests, we felt like family members. We actually felt emotional when leaving and can’t wait to return. Thank you, Alex and Susan for such a wonderful and memorable holiday❤️

A superb small hotel in an idyllic setting. It is hosted by Susan and Alex who make you feel special from arrival. The rooms are sumptuous with great build quality. There is an infinity pool with grand views over the lower plane. The breakfasts were excellent. Our favourite was poached eggs on avocado toast.

I am writing this review during my stay & have never done that before but I have never received service like this before. The way you are treated by the couple who run Finca Son Arnau (Alex & Susan) is incredible, this started months before our visit. Everything needed for your stay is handled by your hosts with nothing being too much trouble, from arranging a taxi from the airport to restaurant reservations (even when your flight time is moved by your airline). When you have arrived things only get better with Alex's hospitality & enthusiasm a joy to behold. The hotel is superb with the cleanliness & maintenance beyond reproach (if only I could manage the same standards in my own home) Our room (no 1) is beautiful with high ceilings, both room & ensuite very spacious and comfortable with what is the best shower I have experienced in a hotel. The outside & pool areas are lovely with fantastic views across Selva & beyond, there are more than enough sun beds and seating areas. All of which are incredibly comfortable. The food prepared by Alex could easily compete with a Michelin starred restaurant. I thank my lucky stars to have found this absolute jewel of a place & will most definitely be returning.
