We were a group of five like minded petrolheads preparing for a motor sport rally. After a freezing day in the nearby forests, it was a delight to be welcomed to the Grapes. This is a really friendly local hotel with a busy pub.The food is comfort food, but well cooked and well…
Cannot believe its the same hotel we stayed in when I read the reviews The room was very cramped, furniture & carpet very tired , bed was on a slope. Air con units on the a roof outside the window running & kept us awake. Wall to next room paper thin, could hear guests snoring…

We spent one night here and the staff were wonderful couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Good quality en-suite bedrooms with everything you need and brilliant breakfast cooked to order at a pre arranged time.
"We didn't stay"
"Room 5 is a good size with a double, single and en suite. Overlooks the car park but very quiet location overall."
"Room 4 is tiny: can't exit without bumping into chair. Horrible views. But it has ensuite, so take this instead of shared bathroom."
"I had room 6 overlooking the square. The view suited me."
"We only used the restaurant so I cannot comment on the hotel"
