At 9:30PM when we returned to our room it was shockingly full of mosqitoes, we believe they came from the river that was under our window. Unfortunately the reception was empty (eventhough they said they will be there until midnight) so we had no solution...

Room very clean and newly furnished. The personnel is a bit cold, but do their job and have answers to all questions. Bathroom with bide. Room without desk. You can rent canoes in the hotel. All in all five stars.

Booked via Tripadvisor the night before. Excellent modern hotel (for Mertola), very comfortable rooms, very helpful staff and only €49 a night. Was concerned corridor noise but I slept like a log. Can recommend.

Stayed in this Hotel for one night whilst visiting the town. Arrived at around 1:00pm and the ladies behind the reception were both very nice and helpful, but we were informed that we would need to wait for our room to be cleaned as they had had a busy day the day before. This is the only small complaint really,...

Amazing place, superb views, good quality room, five-star staff. Good experience. And, please, take time to see in details the fabulous historic site under the hotel because it worth a visit. There is also a piano available, what is really entertaining when you travel with kids.

We managed to book a room with a riverside view which was great. This boutique hotel seems to have been built on some old ruins which are a feature in the reception area. We were touring this part of Portugal and stayed for a couple of nights. The staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. There are not...

Modern hotel, which looked on the outside a bit like a hostel. But inside superbly clean, large room with amazing terrace over the river. French doors could be left open at night for a breeze. Great views. We ate our breakfast out on the hotel terrace every morning. the staff were welcoming, and helpful. The hotel encloses some Roman ruins,...
