Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location, 2 mins from the beach and the centre of the village. Giannis and Aggeliki are the perfect hosts and nothing is too much trouble. Good breakfast with selection of cereals, meat, cheese, eggs, fruit, yoghurt etc and you can eat as much as you desire. The rooms are bright and airy and equipped with very comfy beds, TV, kettle and A/C. There are balconies to enjoy the views and sit and relax. We have been staying at this hotel now for 14years and highly recommend it, you won’t be disappointed.

We have lost count of the times we have spent at the hotel. It is the place to stay for 2 weeks R&R. Clean rooms, with extras found in more expensive hotels such as a bug plug, take your own inserts, Kettle, take your own cups, although Giannis will probably lend you some for the holiday or you can buy some from the shops 100 yards away, Air con, a must during the hotter months. Ironing board and iron. The rooms are cleaned every day. Breakfast with everything from Honey, melon, jams to cheese, meats, breads and cakes, 3 different at last count. The beach is just 150 yards away, plenty of sunbeds to choose from. Buses to Aegina where there are loads of shops, cafes and pubs are 1.80 euro are just up from the hotel. There are also places to see and Giannis will be glad to advise how to get there. All in all a great place to stay and wind down

Great location just a minutes walk to a beautiful beach. Rooms were small, but had all you needed. Great front desk staff, super helpful. He also printed quite a few things for us that we needed for travel (PLF's and Testing documents). We will definitely be staying here again when we are in Aegina again. Some reviews may say these rooms were small, which they were, but this is common for European hotels. We did not have any issues or complaints, and were very very happy with our room and stay.

At the doorstep of Agia Marina and the best beach on the island, Hotel Rachel fits the bill. A warm welcome from the owners on arrival, Yiannis even very kindly drove us to the temple the following morning! This extra gesture made all the difference :) Breakfast was a great spread with watermelon and good coffee. The room was decent and near all the quaint Tavernas overlooking the ocean for a memorable meal and street of shops nearby. Don’t bother staying anywhere else when I’m Aegina!

This has to be the best B & B hotel in Agia Marina. It has everything you would find in a much larger hotel such as Fridge, Air Con, Kettle, Bug plug - just take your own inserts, Iron and ironing board, Hairdryer and Phone and is in the prime location with only 100 yards to the beach. We asked for a taxi to take us to a taverna just outside the town and surprised when the owner became our cab both to and from. They really want to please, last time he drove us to and from the temple. Just make sure you leave us a room to visit next year.........

We stayed here over the weekend and Yannis was very welcoming. The room was clean and you were provided with the basics such as towels. There is also air con. The location of the hotel is perfect - it is right next to Agia Marina, the most beautiful beach on the island. There are lots of bars and restaurants next to it too and everything is walking distance. There is an ATV and motorbike rental shop nearby if you’d like to explore more of the island. However, it should be known that this hotel is on the other side of the port so a taxi would be required to get here (it was around 18 euros). Overall, a lovely experience and I would come back again in a heartbeat.

We were made so welcome by Angelica and her husband Yiannis when we arrived. This lovely small family run hotel is a credit to the way they work and look after the guests. Nothing was too much trouble and A and Y were always happy to help. Our trip organiser had booked an economy room which was on the ground floor. It was small, but fine, with everything we needed. fridge, iron, hair dryer and tv with free WiFi and air con. The bathroom had a shower, washbasin and toilet. The breakfasts were typically Greek continental and very tasty. The hotel is perfectly situated in Agia Marina, one minute walk from the beach and the same to the shops and restaurants. There is also a shop and boutique attached to the hotel where guests get a discount. The next time we are going to Egina we will definitely stay here. We had a fabulous week there and would recommend this hotel.
