We stayed in Uncastello during Fiesta by chance. Highly recommended family fun with music parades and bull ring. The hotel is perfect as described. The service is personal and the ambience relaxed and friendly. Uncastillo is fabulous for history and atmosphere. The main church exhibition is stunning.

Never having been in this part of Spain, we chose Uncastillo, one of the Cinco Villas hill towns, from a tour book. We were not disappointed. This is an interesting historical area, and you can easily spend two or three days looking at the churches and castles in Uncastillo and the surrounding area, or just hanging out in the town...

We loved the stay at Posada la Pastora. Excelent service. Beautiful room. We had dinner twice and loved it to. Local quisine and local ingredients. And also good local wines. Uncastillo is a perfect starting point for a hike into the area.

Perfect hosts in a perfect environment. Uncastillo is a charming village where old Spanish values and family life can still be seen in very well kept and historic surroundings. Plenty to see and in the town, and environs. The rooms and facilities are beautiful and air conditioned , breakfast a masterpiece. Two points to note that should not put you...

We were lucky to come across this very characterful and delightful posada on our car tour of northen Spain. Miguel and Inma have paid great attention to the authentic restoration of this traditional Spanish residence which is just situated off the main town square. Although it was the weekend of the Fiesta we slept well and did not experience any...

Lovely charming place and people, Miguel the owner very helpful speaking good English. Very central, need to stay a couple of days next time. Nice meal cooked by Inma, Miguel's wife. The town is medieval with a castle and many old churches. The country side is very scenic.

I organised a trip for Landrover owners. I choosed to let my guests stay at Posada la Pastora. We were warmly welcomed amd my guests loved the authentic ambiance. People were pleasantly surprised by the rooms and how well everything was taken care of. Uncastillo itself is a beautful and lovely little town. It is perfectly situated for a holiday....

Welcoming and helpful hosts. Excellent breakfast, one of the best we have had in Spain. The room was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Good position in the town with near by car parking. The town had a few restaurants and bars. We would certainly stay at Posada La Postora if we were in that area again

The hotel is right in the old centre of Uncastillo a very picturesque location but almost impossible to find without getting out the car. Our hosts could not have been more helpful. Posado was all we expected and more. A poetry book on my bedside table, candles in the bedroom and homemade jam. Perfecto. A great clean municipal pool nearby. Unicastillo is remote but this makes up a lot of its charm. Enjoy a total change from your usual urban day to day.

Maybe on summer the municipal pool is one of the appeals of Uncastillo, of course. Thank so much to help us to promote our charming village. Best regards, Inma & Miguel
