At first, I was a little apprehensive of not knowing what to expect, having read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor. This being my family's first holiday abroad so you can imagine the enormity of the pressure on my shoulders as I didn't want to disappoint the children. The Moment we stepped into Eftalia Ocean, I felt a sigh of relief and the image from the film " Carry on Abroad" quickly vanished. The hotel was absolutely beautiful and very clean. We quickly got booked in by very friendly reception staff and had our luggage taken to our room by a porter. The room was amazing and clean and very spacious and included a free mini bar which got replenished every day. The night view from the hotel balcony overlooking the hotel pools and palm trees and the sea was amazing. There was a 24-hour food place called "Burger Land" it was a blessing as we arrived just before midnight. The following day filled with shear excitement we couldn't wait to get our day started. The vast selection of breakfast and lunch was mind-blowing, all to a very high standard and professionalism.10/10. There was always something for everyone, I ventured with the traditional Turkish cuisine which I found amazing. For lunch we would eat at restaurants on the Island and were spoilt for choice, the children loved the waffle bar, this meant that we didn't have to walk back to the hotel for lunch. The kids club again amazing my young son enjoyed it so much that he very quickly made friends with other children. The pools and the slides were the best part of the holiday, the enjoyment factor and sheer enjoyment on the face of the children was so rewarding, not so say the smile on the wife's face as she lounged by the poolside reading her novels. The entertainment was great and the whole place was a totally secure family friendly environment. On one of the evenings, we visited the ice cream stand, that was entertainment in its own right. we did a few excursions the best of which was the safari a totally enjoyable crazy fun filled day, a fantastic experience by the Pink Panther Safari team. The Hospitality this is where I have to make mention of a few things, it's very easy to start being very pedantic and lose view of the big picture. The staff put their heart and soul into their work, the passion shows on their face and smile. The staff would go out their way at any given opportunity to showcase their very best in their hospitality and service. I was amazed at how everyone was polite and friendly and always had a smile on their face which said it all. "Marhaba". A few of the staff that stood out exceptionally and definitely deserve praise and recognition for their dedication and hard work are Sheima Son from Business Relations, Recep Yiladiz Junior sous chef, Onur head waiter, Elwan " old soldier" Burger land, Elif Bar staff/Turkish tea barista. This Holiday was my first visit to Turkey, first of many to come. Such a lovely and wonderful place I will definitely be returning again. with my family. Definitely value for money for anyone with a family. Next time I shall be looking to book directly with the hotel and have been given details of how to do so, as I didn't have the best of experience with the travel agents. On arrival we were very impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel which continued throughout and to the room we were ultimately given. Initially we were given room 1015 which was extremely noisy due to the constant road noise plus it had no clothes rail suitable for dresses or trousers as it was a disabled room but after talking with the reception we were given room on the forth floor which overlooked the rear of the hotel giving us a much quieter aspect except at 6 am in the morning when you were very noisily called to prayer from the local Mosque. We are very honest with our reviews and indeed if you were to read our review (which we will shortly be putting on) for The King Evelthon in Cyprus you will see we are not a pair of moaners. PLUS POINTS Comfy bed, Fabulous patisserie, Italian A la Carte Restaurant, water slides, good size pool, excellent spa and massage facilities. NEGATIVE POINTS We've never ever been to a hotel where there is a TIP box in the room and if the maid enters the room whilst you are there she heads straight to it to shake it to see if there is anything in it!! Bedding and towels are of poor quality. The restaurant was a daily 'bun fight' to find a suitable table and then to find something decent to eat. I know we were in Turkey so we can't expect British food but International food of a decent quality should be the norm. If you are happy with chips for breakfast, lunchtime and dinner this is the hotel to come to. Every day without fail people were moaning of the very poor food quality and selection. Even the Jet2 Rep said she'd received complaints. The A la Carte Grill Restaurant was poor and was far inferior than the Italian. The road noise was constant and as such it was impossible to escape it other than if you were sitting under a speaker blasting out music. The beach was never cleaned and as such it was littered with cigarette ends and other detritus. As an AI Hotel it was confusing as to what was and wasn't AI as some bars on the Island were chargeable. Drinks were very weak tasting and you had to pay extra for the cocktails. CONCLUSION This hotel is not for us but is well suited to families who aren't bothered by the quality of the food (as long as chips are available).…

Stayed for 7 days on all inclusive and I thought it was really good! Gin, vodka, beer and whiskey is included so you have some sort of variety to drink. In regards to the food, there was a wide range of choices from a lot of cultures and enjoyed trying other foods as well as having the options for plain chips and chicken 😂 The staff were mostly lovely and helpful. The hotel itself was very clean and had loads to offer such as other free things on the island like waffles, snide kfc ect. There’s lots to do for the kids like slides and plenty of pools. Lots to do for the adults with some shops on site, spa and other things that you would have to pay for around the island. The only negative thing I would have to say is the rooms are thin and if you get a bad neighbour you know about it. If your a dog or a cat person there are plenty to be seen and all of them were friendly :)…

Winter sun break? Well more like a stressful week! Transfer bus decided to stop at 2am in the morning getting us here we sat and sat and thought what the hell is going on Oh he was outside with his mates smoking and having a coffee!!! 6 of us here 3 adults 2 teenagers and a baby Food absolutely disgusting I must of lost about a stone I’ve never eaten much and if it wasn’t for the pancakes the kids would of starved too!! All inclusive is bull you have to pay for most things it’s just shocking Never again Plus I don’t like Turkey won’t be back!!!

Had a lovely week here with my parter and our 1 year old, we were originally staying in Eftalia aqua but they moved us to Ocean as it closed in a few days and they didn’t want to disturb us during our holiday to move. We were taken over in a golf buggy and instantly pleased with how beautiful and clean reception is. We’re told the bar would provide milk and a travel cot would be put in the room for our baby. We went to the 24 hour burger place and had some food as we arrived late at night and we’re able to get a drink, food was decent can’t complain with it at that time of night. The pool area is clean and pools and splash park is amazing for the kids couldn’t get my 1 year old out. Pool is extremely slippy lost count of how many people I seen fall. Rooms are cleaned to a high standard, fresh towels & toilet roll every day put in upon cleans. And mini bar filled up. The Eftalia island is really good, so much to do. A lot that you had to spend money on. Alcohol drinks weren’t free there which was quite annoying and cocktails also had to be paid for in hotel. Water slides there were amazing. Food at restaurant had a lot of choice although not a lot to our taste , but there was always something you could eat. Overall a really great holiday , would return.…

This place was amazing and plenty to do with family and I have to say the night shift manger (oruc) and his personal security (ALI) was absolutely rude and had no respect for me or the family and we spoke to a different manger in the morning and nothing had be done and we have the evidence of the video what we recordeded to how we was spoken to and treated us but still nothing was done, so if anyone does come across them please avoid them

This place is by far the most wonderful place we have stayed in Turkey. The Eftalia Ocean has one of the best pools of all the Eftalia hotels, the flumes and children's areas are amazing. Plenty of sun for November (averaging 25-29c), for us this was the perfect temperature. The range of food and the cleanliness is outstanding. You have traditional turkish food, Italian/European as well as plenty of options for vegetarians. On our first day we had a Turkish bath and massages as a family and it was an amazing experience and total relaxation - the perfect way to start our holiday. We felt very safe here, the whole place was secure and child friendly. The staff are super friendly. Our room maid, Sherife, was incredibly friendly and attentive to our needs. I never normally write a review of my family holiday but after seeing multiple bad comments prior to going, I just had to comment from our own experience. We booked for 7 days all inclusive stay with this's hotel and it cost us £2500 for 4 of us. Our stay here was fabulous !! Staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. There was always plenty of variety of food available in the restaurant and at the snack bars , both in the hotel grounds and the island, drinks are what you would normally expect when catering for the masses!! The Water slides are really good and great for the kids (and adults) 😎. For less than £100 PP per day for Accommodation , food/Drinks and access to the water parks, “I’m not sure what else people would expect” ? We will be definitely return to this hotel in the future. …

We were all so looking forward to this holiday but what a disappointment. The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. The entertainment is non existent. The food is tasteless and meat is overcooked. Who on earth wants cauliflower for breakfast?? We have all been ill with sickness and diarrhea even though we were really careful and only had bottled water. We have been ripped off and overcharged. My son in law was charged €11 for a milkshake that should have cost €4. He only realised after he had checked the menu board but was then too late to do anything about it. We have another week to go but frankly I would be happy to go home today. Never again!!

Eftalia ocean is a very clean hotel with great water park for the kids, the island is also just as good for the slides and pools. The beach is very dirty but surprisingly the see and water isn't very good for snorkeling plenty of fish. The food is awful only thing is pancakes for the kids, we went to the Italian restaurant last night(don't bother) it was just as bad. Its steak for main but that wasn't steak we didn't eat it the best thing was the bread and butter. The best thing for food was the pork sandwich on the island very nice. Beer spirits and soft drinks are free in the hotel but cocktails and mocktails you have to pay for, also on the island the only thing free is beer and soft drinks, spirits are charged. The shop in the hotel is super expensive £20 for a small rubber ring some are £70 small bag of nuts £10 crackers £7. Orange at breakfast is £2. Water slides are great but they close them for 2 hours a day not sure why, in my opinion very dangerous as the kids walk up and down them hanging over the edge. We went to a restaurant in alanya called James greenheaven which pick you up and bring you back saving £50 in taxis, food was very nice really friendly staff. Alanya town is worth a visit very cheap if your wanting the fakes. We've paid £3500 for the week all inclusive (not all inclusive) loads of extras cocktails are £7. If we came for a week in summer holidays it was coming in at £6750 for 2 adults 3 children very expensive, We've paid that for a 5 star all inclusive cruise for 2 weeks. We will not be returning a shame really as it has potential.…
