I stayed 2 nights in late September and loved the place. Elegant villa built in 1899 by an emigrant who had made money in Uruguay. Rooms + baths are modernised and beds extra comfortable. Breakfasts varied and plentiful. Evening meal available with advance notice. Double guest living room with library including books on Asturias geography and history. Lovely garden with...

Overall: 5 stars Room: 5 stars for Superior Double (room 7 on top floor). Note the entire room and bathroom were remodeled recently. Bathroom: 5 stars as it was spotless and only place in Northern Spain that provides washcloths. Looked like a modern bathroom in a hotel. Breakfast: 5 stars for the homemade orange/lemon cake! I made el Camino de Santiago last summer, and thankfully I found this little village sourrunded by green mountains and valleys. Staying in Casa Roja made me feel at home. The service was a 10, and the food served in the restaurant was the best I've tried in Spain. Cadavedo has an amazing overview of the coast in a placed...

I spent two weeks this summer in Casa Roja and all I can say is positive about the place: nice house and friendly service. I traveled with small children and we got two rooms that were connected through a bathroom allowing a bit of independence. The rooms are very clean and and the bathrooms are modern - you can tell...
