Fantastic hotel, restaurant and bar. Booked the Sunday snooze offer because excellent value. Stayed in the Rookhope room in a building over the road. Gorgeous room, large and spacious and it had everything you needed to make the stay comfortable. Ate in the restaurant on the evening and the food was fantastic. Stayed on a Sunday night as a lot cheaper. Really nice place, beautiful room and toiletries good quality, rainfall shower was excellent. This is an old building all stone but really quirky with lots or rooms and the open fires just finish it off. Sharing starters, mains and puds give a nice twist to a fabulous Sunday lunch. The starters were the highlight- beetroot and blue cheese- salmon with crispy egg-fabulous soup. Wonderful.
