We only stayed here overnight on our way home. We wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful and we got exactly that. Our hosts were extremely pleasant and their home is lovely. The room was comfortable as was the bed. There was a lovely rural view from the window. The room lacked nothing. Just mind your head!! Breakfast was a sociable occasion...

We have stayed twice at Le Moulin de L'Epinay, and can't recommend it enough. The house itself is beautiful and set in its own grounds complete with crystal-clear stream, cascade and pretty wooded glade. It has been sensitively renovated and every attention paid to guests' comfort. Each time we received a very warm and friendly welcome from Lynne and Duncan,...

We stayed here overnight on our way home from Brittany. It was a perfect end to a great holiday. The owners of this beautiful old renovated watermill, Lynn and Duncan made us so welcome and the food, much of which was grown in their lovely garden, was amazing! We stayed in the Wheel Room which was absolutely charming and exceptionally...

We stopped off here overnight on our way to and from the Loire Valley and it was ideal. It was handy for the motorway but was in a beautiful peaceful setting. We had the wheel room and the set up was perfect for us and our teenage daughter as it meant she could have her own room and facilities and...

This nicely converted old sawmill house is nestled in the rolling hills and farmland just over the rise from the little village of Ste-Beuve-en-Riviere. First of all, the drive to the house was through the picturesque fields of golden wheat and green cornfields, dotted with pastureland where black and white cows gaze. A sign marks the driveway entrance which is...

We have stayed here regularly for a number of years and have never been disappointed. The hosts, Lyn & Duncan, are caring and nothing is too much trouble for them. Excellent food and accommodation in beautiful and relaxing surroundings.

Booked this to stay on our way back from the Loire as we wanted to see a few more bits of France not visited before. The owners are British, which was useful for us, but speak fluent French, and have lots of French people staying too. The stream that runs by the property is clear and babbling-lovely setting! The room, which is...

We had one night here on our way from Bergerac to Zeebrugge. There was a cancelation so we were able to stay in the studio. This was a self contained unit so perfect for anyone who wants a longer stay as they could self cater. We had the evening meal for 26 Euros each including drinks which was very good...

Stayed at Le Moulin in May 2014 just for one night as touring through France, but thoroughly enjoyed it - beautiful setting, lovely house, excellent hosts - Lynn and Duncan looked after us really well and we enjoyed a first class table d'hote dinner and would echo a previous comment that it's more like a dinner party with friends -...

A guaranteed good night's rest in a truly comfortable bed in a charming, well equipped room overlooking lovely, peaceful countryside. We don't understand the previous comments about the breakfast as we were offered more than enough: delicious home made bread and jams, fresh orange juice, yoghurts, croissants, baguettes, fruit and cereals. Dinner the previous evening was just as delicious, four...
